In ‘The Hunger Games,’ Cinna, played by Lenny Kravitz, is known for his calming personality and gold eyeliner. Learn his liner secret!

Lenny Kravitz plays Cinna, the personal stylist to Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence. While there aren’t many descriptions of Cinna in The Hunger Games books, his gold liner is consistently mentioned. The makeup department head for the film, Ve Neill, reveals what she used to get Cinna’s liner look.

Surprisingly, Ve didn’t actually use an eyeliner to create the gold line. Instead,  she used MAKE UP FOR EVER Metal Powder in #1 Sunflower Gold. Using a powder product as an eyeliner is a great way to create an incredibly pigmented shade that won’t budge.

If you want to copy Cinna’s liner, simply dip a small, pointed eyeliner brush into a bit of water and then into the Metal Powder. Carefully draw on your line and enjoy the look!

I think a gold liquid eyeliner would also work well but of course, it is not the same!

You have a typo. You called Ve Neil a He. She is, in fact, a she. ;)

Maybe someone should have done some more research to know that Ve Neill is a woman. An Oscar Award winning woman.
