'Vampire Diaries' Spoiler: Is Meredith Really Dying? Plus 13 Crazy New Pics

Torrey DeVitto told HollywoodLife.com that Meredith’s death was ‘inevitable.’ Maybe she wasn’t kidding!

If you’re a true Vampire Diaries fan, you’ve probably already seen this disturbing picture of a bloody Torrey DeVitto laying on the Gilbert’s bathroom floor from the April 12 episode “Break On Through.” But what’s really going on? “It’s kind of inevitable,” Torrey told HollywoodLife.com of Meredith’s death, adding that she literally flips to the back of every new script she gets to see if her character is still alive. “How long can you really last on a crazy, supernatural show? I’m just thankful I’ve lasted this long.”

The official description for the episode makes no mention of Meredith, which only makes this photo of her supposed death all the more shocking. To play Devil’s Advocate, let’s not forget she’s been sleeping with Alaric (Matt Davis), who is in possession of a certain ring that might save her from this predicament.

What the description does reveal, however, is that this episode marks the present-day reunion of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and foxy boxer Sage (Cassidy Freeman), a meeting which will make things very interesting for Damon’s latest bed buddy Rebekah (Claire Holt). Meanwhile, Abby (Persia White) adjusts to life as a vampire with a little help from Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Caroline (Candice Accola), and Elena (Nina Dobrev) continues to bring Stefan (Paul Wesley) “closer to his humanity.”

i think that Elana looks better with Stephan first of all. wait, hold that thought, i think Damon looks better with Elana. however, i love the way Stephan tries and at least he tries too keep her safe too while Damon is too. Elena doesn’t like hurting people because she’s only protecting the people who she loves, and Syephan understands that and Damon is hurting people and she doesn’t like that at all. Stephan and Damon has to make a wise choice on who it’s going to be. it may seem that there outting revenge but there just trying too make things right at some point.

Ok i know that in first season Stefan was very sweet and blah blah but I just hate their relationship because even if it’s perfect I think it isn’t really working out. Delena’s relationship is much more interesting and they simply have it all! Damon is the one who under any circumstances always keeps elena safe, even if she doesn’t want to, because he knows that is the best for her, Damon is the one who always suffers but people don’t realize that because he doesn’t demostrate it like Stefan. Damon suffers more more more than Stefan but most people don’t realize that. Because everyone always prefered Stefan even when Damon was a cute and respectfull man, that’s why Damon always stayed behind and that’s not fair. It isn’t fair that everyone prefer Stefan just because of his angel face, his manners and the way of acting as a gentleman, because Damon is a gentleman just in its own way of being. And that makes him special. ,and that kind faces are fake and Stefan has already demostrate it.

i like how you said this. so you choose Damon over Stephan?? but eventually you might change your thoughts about Damon and ending up liking Stephan. right now i choose Stephan over Damon.

I’m really tired of Bonnie and her judgements, which are misdirected, she’s responsible for going to see Esther, she did not kill the Vampire killing machine that lead to Caroline becoming a vampire, and blames Elena and anyone else nearby LOL This helping Abby become a vampire, yuck. So much for judging others it seems.

Woo! more Stelena scenes <3 and i am so glad Merideth is gone, I dont like the look of Sage she looks like trouble the pictures of Damon and Rebekah look interesting.

i acc thought meredith was bringing alot of charactor to the series. would be a shame if she died of yet another tv show, and shes barely in pretty little liars! :( id love it if she could become a nice person and stay on the show :L :) ..

I am dying to see Stefan and Elena back together as this is the only love story I really believe in on the show. At this point shipping Damon and Elena is pathetic. He’s slept with or killed half of Mystic Falls. So I guess we should be hopeful that Meredith isn’t really dead. If Elena does hook up with Damon we will need Meredith to prescribe her some heavy duty antibiotics. For God’s sake poeple he slept with her MOTHER!!!

Yeah Damon slept with her mother but Damon didnt even know that was Elenas mother till way after come on now? And John Gilbert was the one who set the whole meeting with Damon and Isobel in the first place the only reason Elena forgived John for that was because John was her father. Isobel wanted to be turned by Damon Damon didnt force it on her so dont blame Damon because he wasnt planning on turning Isobel till she kept begging him. So that alone is Isobels fault not Damons.

So you guys that want Meredith and Alaric together completely forgot that she SHOOT him in the last episode? Yeah, that will be an epic lovestory, we don’t even now if Ric is still alive, but it seems so. I want Meredith gone and dead. her characther is pointless.
And they don’t sleep together, they hardley even kissed on the show…
And also,there is no epic love story between Bex and Damon, he just slept with her cause Elena hurt him, even if it become something more it just a distraction for Damon, we all know who he wants.

I really hope for damon and rabekah.Delena is so boring. I hate how she turned damon into a little puppy.

I want ric and meredith to have there epic lovestory. cannot wait to see how sage and damon act with each other. kind of like buddies who used to know everything about each other. hope sage doesn’t come between damon and bex and there epic love story.

I hate Damon/Rebekah (DE FTW!) So I’m kind of glad that Sage will ruin that, but Meredith/Alaric has really grown on me! It’ll be sad to see her go.

Oh god they’re gonna force feed me some more cheesy, boring Stelena. Gee that hasn’t been done before. After three years it’s still coming back like a stale burp. Youtube it is, thanks for the warning.
