Scarlett will play ‘Psycho’ victim Janet Leigh in a new movie about the making of the Hitchcock classic.
Scarlett Johansson, 27, is taking it all off in her new movie — but there’s a twist! The buxom actress has signed on to play Janet Leigh in Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the groundbreaking horror flick, US Weekly reports. For those of you not well-versed in horror, Leigh’s Psycho character meets her death in the infamous shower scene, in which she’s brutally stabbed to death while screaming bloody murder.
The upcoming film, which stars acting legends Sir Anthony Hopkins as the “master of suspense” and Helen Mirren as his wife, doesn’t have a release date yet.
We think the decision to hire the always-sexy ScarJo to play the famous on-screen victim is a genius move! No doubt she’ll do the iconic scene justice!
Do YOU think Scarlett is a good choice for the role, HollywoodLifers?
