This should make the next season of ‘Khloe and Lamar’ very interesting.

UPDATE: Lamar will rejoin the Mavericks after he gets back into shape with the Texas Legends. He hasn’t been traded off the team, just sent down to their minor league team. Talk about a Kardashian Krisis! News just broke that Lamar Odom will no longer play for the Dallas Mavericks, as he has been demoted to the team’s D-league affiliate, the Texas Legends. What’s even more shocking is that ESPN reports it was Lamar’s idea to play for the Legends after leaving the Mavericks Feb. 22 to be with his ill father.

So what does this mean for Khloé Kardashian? For now, at least, it shouldn’t affect her too much. The Legends are based in Frisco, Texas, which is relatively close to Dallas. (Good thing she won’t have to move — AGAIN!)

And she hasn’t made any official remarks about the demotion, though she did post this curious tweet March 2: “If you only knew the truth… Silly little rabbit… You will believe anything… Jokes on YOU!”

Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, explained to TMZ why Lamar switched teams, saying, “[Lamar] is doing great. D-League is rehab. [He] needs to get in great shape and then rejoin the Mavs.”

He added, “Know how baseball teams send a guy down to the minor leagues to get some games in a get timing back? Same thing. Things are going great. He is working super hard. All is good.”

Do YOU think Lamar will be back with the Mavericks soon? Sound off below!

I think he’s still mad because he was traded. I’m not a sports fan and can’t understand why a high profile player would be demoted to the D league to brush up on his playing. This is a seasoned player not a rookie and Lamar should know what he’s doing.

Why would Mark Cuban sign Lamar on for $8 million dollars a season only to turn around and demote him to the D league soon afterwards? Doesn’t make sense. We’ll see if Lamar comes back to the Mavericks.

Odom is a head case, is mentally weak, and isn’t producing in Dallas because he doesn’t want to be there. He only wants to play for the Lakers. His heart can be nowhere else. The Lakers, at least front office and ownership-wise, doesn’t want him. He should do the right thing and retire. If you dont want to do it anymore, and you’re not committed to it, then stop ripping off your team and cheating your team by cashing those paychecks. Dallas is pretty good. If you’d get your head in the damn game, Lamar, Dallas would be better then the Lakers. They might be better than the Lakers without you. Odom was not traded to the D-League. Dallas doesn’t really want him unless he can focus his game. Odom is still on the Mavericks though. This is not permanent.
