Kate is still working as a blogger at CouponCabin.com, but it’s not bringing in enough dough, a source tells HollyBaby.com. In fact, her bodyguard Steve Neild works for free!
Kate Gosselin, 36, has big problems on her hands. A source tells HollyBaby.com that the only reason Kate decided to host a Royal Caribbean cruise for this upcoming summer is because she’s “strapped for cash.”
“The last thing Kate wants to do is hang out with complete strangers,” a source says. “She’s doing it for a free vacation and because she needs money desperately.”
Kate’s long-running TLC reality show, Kate Plus Eight, was cancelled a few months ago, and Kate has since taken a job as a blogger. Ironically, her new job is about giving money-saving tips.
“Kate wants her own show, a talk show, but it’s just not panning out,” the source continues. “Kate doesn’t know what’s next, but she’s doing whatever she can to make money for her and the kids.”
Kate is known to take her bodyguard Steve Neild with her on trips and appearances, which led us to question how she can afford him.
“Steve works for Kate for free,” our source says. “If she ever pays him, it’s the bare minimum.”

I have to say that is one cruise I would never go on. MAybe she should simply go back to work, I believe she is a nurse of sorts. If she hadn’t blown through all her money on spas, shopping trips, a huge house ,with all the money it takes just to keep afloat,hair care,pedis, etc, .She might actually have money, sell the house, move into something affordable, put those kids in public school, get a real life. Tv is gone for good ,I hope.
