yet she’s not afraid it will take her boyfriends from her or any of the other things she seems to be doing besides taking care of her son? we all saw how you were in rehab and on the reunion while on your medication and you were doing just fine… you just want another excuse for your mother to take care of your responsibilities.

Jenelle now you know you have this problem take your meds right and with hope you’ll get better. You just have to pray a little. Good luck you have a cute little boy.

I totally understand where she is going because I’m in a similar type of situation as i have bipolar disorder, too. Im 41 and i have one boy, Tyler, he turns 4 next week. Its hard dealing with bipolar’s wild cycles…and caring for Ty…have to work harder than normal to keep myself stable and be the mother Ty needs.

Christina its easily said than done. Bipolar effects people differently! What do you mean you was bipolar? Bipolar is a lifelong illness that has to be managed and take preventive measures to against major manic or depressive episodes. So either you are bipolar or had bipolar. Meds alone isnt going to fix everything, not to mention the trial and error with that illness on finding the right medication and dosage thats actually works. There may also be enviromental factors that triggers her mood swings and her ability to function properly. It amazes me how people are so easily to comment on things without acutally looking at the big picture. lol

I am Bi-Polar and am on meds. I take care of two children and have been fine for the last 12 years!

So, if she doesn’t take care of Jace (which she hasn’t in the past) she will use Bi-Polar as an excuse, and only the ignorant will believe her!

Bi-Polar can be controlled. But if she continues to drink and smoke weed while she is taking her medication she will never be able to take care of her son the way she should. I have a cousin who is bi-polar and when she drinks OMG its a site for sore eyes. And quite honestly I believe he is better off with his grandmother anyway.

No WAY is he better off with Barbra!! Jace needs to be with his mother (if she ever gets her ish together) or be put up for adoption. Remember, Barbra raised Janelle, and look how well that worked out… If she does even half the crap that she did with Janelle, poor Jace is doomed.

If she really wants to care for her child(and there is not much evidence of that) then she will get herself together with meds. She seems much more dedicated to partying than being a mother.

all things considered, being bi-polar really isn’t that bad.. it’s manageable with medication and if she honestly wants to care for her child (which i don’t believe at all) then she will be able to get it under control
