The hot new action star reveals she’s also a big fan of the ‘Twilight’ saga’s leading lady!
Jennifer Lawrence may never want to achieve Kristen Stewart‘s level of fame, but in a new interview, The Hunger Games star admits she’s a big fan of the Twilight saga’s leading lady. “I really like Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movies,” she tells Celebritext. “I can’t really imagine anybody else doing it; I think she’s a great Bella.”
And did you know that Jennifer, 21, was originally up against K-Stew, 21, for the part of Bella? It’s true, but Jennifer says there’s no hard feelings there at all.
“I think that everything happens for the reason,” she says. “I’ve never really been disappointed about not getting anything. I mean, I was just with every actor in New York or LA auditioning for whatever’s out thee. But I felt that whatever it meant to be, will happen. I actually had no idea what they were.”
In the end, Jennifer says she was actually really impressed with K-Stew’s performance in the epic saga.
“When the movies came out, I went, ‘Wow!’” she says.

Why is fans trying to start something both are good young actresses Jennifer earned a Oscar nod and I’m sure Kristen will get one too with OTR. For Twilight who are slamming THG let remind you that HP fans use to do the same thing slamming twilight and y’all was crying about it now you guys doing same thing with THG cast! Bunch of hypercrites.

i have always believed that time will eventually tell.we as fans are trying so hard to make these people what they are not yet.they are young and still have many year to let us see what they are made of .so do not divide or compare them,rather support them ,so that they can still make us smile as time goes on.

i love both ladies but Jennifer is so much more interesting!
she is so funny and true in her interviews…they are both good actresses (except kris in twilight)but Jenn is for me just a bit better!

if someone sucks….that’s probably you. she never said she’s against kristen so you make up things. jennifer is amazing she’s one of the most talented young actresses that had appeared in the last decade and she was nominated for an oscar when she was 19.
And let’s not compare a shallow romance to the hunger games people…even robert has said that if he hadn’t gotten the role he wouldn’t even watch it.

I figured that there would be an apology coming when Jen said that. Even though she said she didn’t want Kristen’s fame, she didn’t really insult her. But, no, despite a few feuds, everyone has to like everyone in Hollywood.

Both are striking, but when it comes to facial features, Kristen has a bit of an edge. I don’t want to rain on Jennifer’s parade or showcase, but The Hunger Games books were boring. After the first one, which was interesting enough, one knows that there would be a revolution and that Katniss would play a significant role in that revolution. Skip the second book, and read the last part of the third book. That’s how boring it was.(By the way, I read all three books). The amount of books sold by Twilight and The Hunger Games is testimonial. I wish The Hunger Games success, but it will hardly have a following like The Twilight Saga.

HA! I couldn’t even read the first page of Twilight. It’s so dull, Bella is so depressing and boring. Look up Alex Reads Twilight and you will agree. The Hunger Games has excitement and action. About a girl that can take care of herself and doesn’t mope about a man all day!

Unbelievable! THG is full of action, twilight is a sad, dull, stretched out love story. It may have been alright as fanfiction, but even then there is no plot and any action is missed, diminished, or rushed. The author tries to make Bella average, and covers up her “beauty” with clumsiness and making her unknowing of the fact. There is no clumsiness when she’s always a damsel in distress, and it’s hardly a story when we all KNOW that Edward’s gonna leap in and save her like her vampire with glitzy skin. They have shallow reasons for loving each other, Edward cuz he wants to eat Bella, Bella cuz she thinks he’s hot. Honestly, they’ve barely met! Not even good enough for a dollar store novel.

I really like Kristen but i don’t really like her personallity…at least as i love Jenn’s personallity.Jennifer is funny , interesing ,clever and i love every single interview she gives…she makes me laugh and she is so beautiful.On the other hand…kristen seems to be bored in every interview…:/

i LOVED her performance in Poker House and in Winter’s Bone and i can’t wait to she her in THG!
she is funny,beautiful,smart and soooo talented!
i hate the thing that they compare THG with twilight…because that means that THG will have in the future many haters and it doesn’t deserve haters because it is a truly amazing story…!
I didn’t like Kristen’s performance as Bella but she has done amazing films (the runaways,speak,wildlife)and i really admire her!

@ akku, Kristen doesn’t have to prove anything to anybody, because in her 21 yrs., she has already done it. She wasn’t nominated, but won a BAFTA, the British equivalent of an Oscar and other critical awards. At 12 years old she held her own beside Oscar winner Jodie Foster. Studios rewrite screenplays to get her to star in their films and she commands high salaries for her movies. Kristen has been working a long time steadily and will be around for long long time as she chooses to. They are both talented and beautiful. It’s Jennifers time to shine for a while. I’m quite sure Kristen could use a much needed break from the spotlight. So stop barking and hating on Kristen. She doesn’t care what you think of her and she definitely doesn’t need you.

There is no comparison between Jennifer and Kristen. Jennifer is an oscar nominated star who can act , has wide range and will be here for a very long time. She will be around . Kristen is somebody who is always razzi nominated. She is in the industry only because of nepotism and luck as her then boyfriend Angarano convinced director Catherine to cast Kristen.Her only qualification as per the director was that Kristen was awkward.After securing the role Kristen conveniently dumped her then boyfriend.
The fact about Twilight is is was a popular franchise and it would have been a success even if a wooden plank was acting in Bellas role. In Kristen’s case she is just a blank piece of paper that is alive.
These movies proved one thing that she cannot act. Earlier she was hiding behind inconspicuous indie movies. So nobody was aware of her lack of talent. After Twilight is now in the open that Kristen has no range.The only positive aspect her PR team tries to reinforce is that she is down to earth. Who cares? Actors are not supposed to be down to earth. That’s why they are called stars. Stars are not to come to earth. They should remain up. Only when someone does not have the caliber to stay up would bring out this down to earth card.
Dont worry about Jennifer talking about Kristen. Give her another another 2 years. She would be like” Kristen who?”.Dont forget Kristen is in SWAT which has costed the studio 100 million. It will be very difficult to recover that amount. If not it will be an epic flop like all Kristen Stewart movies other than Twilight. Again it proves Twilight did not need Kristen Stewart. Kristen Stewart is not the reason Twilight became a success.

Give them a chance. If I was in Jennifer’s or Kristen’s position I’d try to be friends. It’s a hard business, but choosing the egoistic way fairly isn’t the best.
As I said, I read both Twilight and Hunger Games. I love both. I hate competiton with..”Who is better?”..”Which movie was bigger in the box office?. Gosh, just go with it everyone !

Hey Everyone,I am a die hard Rob and Kristen fan as I am also a twilight fan,movies,books I have them all,I am a 55 year young mom of 3 grown wonderful kids,all out on there own,they laugh at me loving of course at how much I love the Twi saga,I also read Stephanie’s the host was different,but good different..I think people should give Jennifer Lawrence a chance,because we twi fans hate it when people trash Rob and Kristen and their movies.Its like Harry potter all over again.The hunger games,Harry Potter and Twilight were all very different movies.So wait till you see them before becoming critics, I wasn’t going to see the hunger games but I changed my mind ,I want to see what all the hype is about.I just hope that the cast of the hunger games don’t get trashed like Rob and Kristen did and the movies made fun of.They were good stories told by Stephanie Meyers and good movies by the cast.So I am going to send peace and prayers to the cast of the hunger games too,just like I do the families of Rob and Kristen and their 4 legged family members.It is A hard competitive world when it comes to entertainment.A lot people are cut throats,and if they are the new twilights,or Harry Potters so be it at least we had them in this life time.Peace and Prayers to all that worked hard to bring these characters to life on the big screen.I hope that Kristen and Jennifer can be friends if they are not already. Kristen won’t be able to act even if her life depended on it.She made Bella look like a sexually tortured stutter.
And for those who say if she couldn’t have acted Twilight wouldn’t have been a success,it would have because it’s a famous love story.
