Rihanna Supports Chris Brown Through Cell Phone Theft Accusations

Rihanna is supporting Chris Brown through his alleged cell phone theft debacle.

Rihanna, 23, is letting Chris Brown, 22, know she believes he’s innocent and will stand by him through his most recent legal snafu, reports RadarOnline.

“Chris told Rihanna that he absolutely 1000% didn’t steal that phone, and Rihanna has told him she believes him,” says a close source. “Rihanna has also told Chris that she will stand by him during the investigation, and whatever the future holds. This was extremely humbling to Chris given their tumultuous past, and he told her how much he appreciated her unwavering support to him, despite the criticism she has endured for recording songs with Chris and welcoming him back into her life.”

Chris is accused of stealing Christal Spann’s iPhone on Feb. 19 right after she snapped a picture of him in a Bentley at Miami’s hotspot Cameo. He’s vehemently denied the charges.

If Chris is found guilty of the crime and arrested, his probation from assaulting Rihanna in 2009 will probably be revoked.

“Chris wouldn’t need to be convicted in the Miami case to cause problems with his probation, just charged,” the source tells Radar. “The conditions of his felony probation are very, very strict. Chris must obey all laws and not be arrested for any other crimes. This could be a huge nightmare for his probation if he is arrested and charged.”

No matter what happens, RiRi seems to hold him up on a pedestal. She “has made it very clear to everyone around her that she doesn’t want to hear anything negative about Chris,” says the source.

02.10.11 at 11:03 pmnorth nhrtoi think the reason why people are still upset @ chris brown is because he got off easy. mike vick was fired, lost 100 million dollars, went to jail for multiple years, fox news is calling for his death, he became a bench rider his first year back & had to claw his way back to the top etc and all that for hurting some dogs. its a story of redemption. chris brown beat up a girl to the point that her face looks like raw hamburger meat and his punishment is some lawyer fees, picking up trash on the highway and fake crying at award shows. i know people that got busted for pot that were punished worse. people were just as mad at kanye for interrupting taylor swift & lebron 4 leaving the cavs, niether or which were as bad as what CB did.
