Michel Hazanavicius wins the Oscar for Best Director for ‘The Artist.’
Congrats to Michel Hazanavicius, who earned his first Oscar for his silent film.
“I am the happiest director in the world right now. Thank you for that!” he said.
After Michel thanked his human cast, he also gave props to Uggie the Dog’s performance!
The Artist is the first silent film that was nominated for an Oscar since 1928.
