'Hunger Games' Star Jennifer Lawrence: 'I'd Never Want To Be' Kristen Stewart

Even though the upcoming epic could make her reach K-Stew levels of fame, Jennifer says she doesn’t want that life. Find out why!

Jennifer Lawrence is facing intense stardom as the lead in the upcoming blockbuster The Hunger Games, but she says she’s hoping her career doesn’t blow up to be as massive as stars like Breaking Dawn‘s Kristen Stewart!

Jennifer, 21, says Kristen, also 21, has issues with celebrity that she never wants to deal with, British Glamour reports.

“I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, ‘I’d never want to be that famous’,” she says. “I can’t imagine how I’d feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium.”

Don’t worry Jennifer , you won’t even come close to Kristen .
I doubt the Hunger Games will be bigger than Twilight . Though I am a fan of both of them , I do prefer Twilight .
And a question . Why did Jennifer accept the role of Katniss if she didn’t want fame ? Not that she’ll get much .

Please! Of course, Jennifer will be bigger than Kristen Stewart. I really like Kristen but Jennifer is a better actress. She was nominated for a Academy Award and Kristen? No. Beside THG sold more tickets than Eclipse, and it’s not a secuel.

I think THG is going to be more successfull than Harry Potter and Twilight I mean already sold out the tickets and even the movie is out in a month and is not a secuel yet. The Jennifer’s life is gonna change everybody knows that and not just hers, Josh and Liam too. Anyway I love Hunger Games and I support Jennifer all the way

the oscar nominated movie that jen l. did was just a few years ago.and it was amazing,hence the oscar nod.
and yes,thg has already outsold twilight saga in movie tickets,and it’s not out for another few months and it’s
also not a sequel.kristen is ok,but as long as she has been acting she has not been in a movie that was oscar worthy
nor has she ever been nominated.sadly right now,the biggest thing about her career isn’t her acting but her private life.and as long as she and rob keep hanging around each other it’s going to destroy both their careers.as proof,all
movies that both r/k have done seperately since the first
twilight movie came out,have done awful at the box office.
and i have a feeling that their upcoming movies won’t fair much better.
and besides,seeing kristen in that pic next to jen,there is
no comparison.jen is more womanly and way more beautiful.
it’s just sad that you robsten nuts have to attack anyone who says or comments anything you deem bad about kristen.
but,this is the real world after all,not twilightland!!
so instead of arguing with people who do not see kris as a
goddess like you all do,go out and see her upcoming movies
and prove everyone wrong.

No one has mentioned or even given credit to the fact that SOME of HG success in presales is due to who…TWIHARDS. Lionsgate, who recently bought Summit, was smart to release the Breaking Dawn Part 2 Trailer in the previews for HG. No doubt HG will be a HUGE success, but if you think there is not a large group of Twihards buying tickets just to see the trailer you obviously haven’t been paying attention to us over the last few years. I plan on going just to see the trailer. I am fully aware that there are many Twihards that are HG fans, and I mean no disrespect to HG. Like I said, HG will be HUGE. Just don’t underestimate Twilight fans. I would’ve loved to have seen the numbers without the trailer attached to it. Also, oscar nods mean nothing to me. It is just a bunch of boring movies voted on by men that will be forgotten in a couple of years. Movies like Twilight will be remembered by the fans not the Descendants or Hugo. I couldn’t even tell you who won for best picture in 2008 when Twilight was first released without looking it up,and I am sure there are not many who can. Counting down the days to see the BD part 2 trailer and Can’t wait until June 1st to see Kristen in SWATH:)

This so funny ! Heard a comment that HL monitor the comments … Not happening because I just read a few comments here they are quite awful and disrespectful but somehow they are posted … Go figure this ridiculous nonsense will continue , I keep hoping eventually those dreadful nasty comments will stop about Kristen Stewart acting skills , and I think the reason people praise her work is because she seems like a really down to earth and cool chick ! Not a freaking prima Donna like some actors these days . Nothing against HG or Jennifer Lawrence , but she was nominated just once for one movie she made eons ago , do you people know how many better actors were nominated more than once and they have yet to actually win one !!! Like someone mentioned earlier , she’s not Kristen and I doubt that THG will be as popular , so the jury is still out on her still , also she was in only one movie ,and I’m still trying to see her personality , cause it’s sure is missing .but good luck to her !!!!

Oh don’t worry Jen…you will never reach kristen’s status, so no worries honey. I did read both series and liked both. Twilight much better. Kristen and Robert…. can’t beat the chemistry. I do wish THG well and will prob see….when it comes out at redbox….not spending my money at movie to see it. BD2….will see many times and freely give up the loot!!!! Kristen is awesome!!!!!

Jennifer Lawrence is way better than Kristen Stewart, and she is a better all around actress. I’m not saying that Kristen Stewart is a bad actress, but I think she just happened to get an earlier start at her large stardom, before Jennifer. Maybe I’m just saying this, because I’m a hunger games geek, but I think that Jennifer lawrence could become as famous as Kristen, but it might not be her cup a tea. I can barely wait 27 days until the hunger games comes out!!!!!

I love Jennifer Lawrence!by the way the coer from the magazine is not good at all she looks ungly when she is one of the prettiest young actresses!
i like kristen too but to be honest i think that kristen didn’t do a good job in the twilight films but she was excellent in the runaways!on the other hand Jennifer Lawrence was already nominated for an Oscar for her Performance in Winter’s Bone and that’s says a lot!also in Poker House she was unbelievable!and by watching THG trailer is seems like she is pretty good there too!she is already a big star and THG haen;t even come out yet!

Have any of you tweens seen kristens other films other than twilight she is fantastic in them Im also a movie fanatic and kristen has gotten praises by all critics in her films. except one which I cant blame her bella in the novel was portrayed perfectly .

To Jennifer’s dismay I think she maybe finding herself in the same kind of position as Kristen. To be all that honest I don’t hear a lot about Kristen, partly because I never look for it, but I’m guessing she has paparazzi after her 24/7? I would be unfortunate but it comes with the territory I suppose. But if Jennifer just keeps as she has always been I think she’ll be fine.

I am a movie fanatic and have seen a couple of K.stews movies and the only one that u can truly complement on her acting skills is The Runaways. In her other movies she had that awkward nervous thing going on. I think there are better actresses her age and I do not understand why she is so loved but then again it is the tweens / teens who adore her.

Kristen’s only default is playing characters who all have the same theme: disturbed teen who has some sort of life issue. She did wonderfully in Welcome to the Riley, Into the Wild, the Cake Eaters, and The Yellow Hankerchief. She didn’t act the same in each role because each character was different. However each of these characters have had major life changes at a young age, so they are vulnerable and not very trusting. The Runaways was a completely different character that’s why it stands out. On the Road is different as well and Kristen is already getting Oscar talk for her role. She is a wonderful actress but most haters (& a lot of critics) need to look past the Twilight films because they don’t show her best work.

I saw the cover of the magazine with Jennifer on it. The only thing I have to say about it is that the outfit they put on her does NOT flatter her at all. She seems to be a pretty girl but that outfit makes her thighs look huge.

I have read THG books and didn’t like them at all. Twilight and Hunger Games are two different types of books. Good luck to them though.
