Kristen Stewart Dissed By Her Director: She Was A Nightmare For Writers

Kristen Stewart Welcome To The Rileys

Kristen Stewart’s ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ director, Jake Scott, says K-Stew is famous for improvising a lot of her scenes, which frustrates writers! Thankfully, she’s amazing at it!

Apparently many of the words we’ve heard from Kristen Stewart‘s mouth on the big screen are actually her own! The 21-year-old actress’s Welcome to the Rileys director, Jake Scott, revealed Kristen doesn’t like to memorize lines…she’d rather just improvise!

“Kristen improvises everything,” Jake told Hey U Guys during an interview promoting the Welcome to the Rileys DVD release, which is Feb. 27. “She can be quite frustrating for a writer because she kind of just makes her own words up. She takes what’s written on the page and then just makes her own sense of it.”

The best part? K-Stew doesn’t ask for permission first!

“She wouldn’t warn you she was doing that, she would just change the words,” her director explained.

We have a feeling Kristen had to follow her Twilight scripts a little more closely than that, otherwise there would have been outrage from Twi-hards when Bella Swan said completely different lines than she did in the book.

Do YOU think Jake was being rude calling Kristen out on her improvisation? Sound off below!

to improvise is an amazing talent, I understand it would be frustrating but also welcoming when a movie gets good reviews on the writing when its Kristen doing all the work,, with WTTR, she was amazing with her lines and straight on the mark,, well done I say, shows talent and potential writing, directing carer

I read the full interview. He wasn’t dissing her at all. He’s just describing her method and gave her compliments. For this role, she chain smoked, didn’t sleep a lot, learned how to strip, and ate badly and unhealthy. She wouldn’t have to do all those things, but she did to have the option to go deeper into the character. I’m just saying, ‘Kudos’ !!

I happened to have read the article in which Mr. Scott was interviewed and he was in no way, “dissing” Kristen! He said that both Kristen and James would improvise (not just Kristen) a fact which he actually encouraged in the scene where they go to Mallory’s house for the first time! He also happened to say that he cast Kristen for being genuine and authentic…a quality he finds that not many of the newer generation of actors and actresses bring with them to a role!

Another misleading title from this website to gain attention. How surprising.

Anyway he wasn’t “dissing” her and it’s not uncommon for actors to do this. How this is even a story is beyond me.

Same interview on another celebrity gossip page has the title as complimenting her.
I don’t think he was dissing her.
He has said wonderful things about her in the past, and NOW.

Lol? He’s not dissing her at all. If anything complimenting saying that she’s creative. In the same interview he said he hired her because she was “genuine” and “authentic”.
