Courtney Robertson Was Edited To Look Like A Villain On 'The Bachelor,' Says Friend

Courtney Robertson And Ben Flajnik

Courtney’s longtime hairdresser and good friend Kris Jones tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Courtney is actually a big sweetheart in real life and not at all like the demanding diva that’s seen on ‘The Bachelor.’

Courtney Robertson may not be the villain fans have come to know and hate on The Bachelor. Courtney’s hairdresser and close friend Kris Jones tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Courtney was edited to look mean, and that in real life, the 28-year-old model is actually a “down-to-earth” girl with “zero attitude.” Kris thinks Ben Flajnik would be stupid not to a pick a girl like Courtney.

“I believe everything is usually taped well in advance, so theres’s a lot of editing involved,” Kris explains to us. “I know there’s things that were shown in a certain context where they were in a totally different setting, [the girls were] just joking around talking hypothetically. Then they’ll take a scene and be like, ‘Oh I’ll shave that girl’s eyebrows off,’ — clip it and take it like she’s actually talking about someone who is in the house.”

He adds that Courtney isn’t really that mean. “She’s amazing. I love her,” gushes Kris. “You would never guess that she’s a working model that actually has a job. In LA — models are a dime a dozen. One that’s working that’s down-to-earth, cool and real is nice to have.”

And when Courtney is seen acting tough on TV, it’s her defense mechanism. “As a model, they get jealousy and girls that will just hate for any reason. They have to develop a thick skin. To be successful as a model, you have to approach it as if you make friends, great, but you’re not there to make friends. Some people may take that as bitchy, other people take it as professional. I take it as confidence and someone who can handle negativity.”

“It’s so funny to us that they are portraying her like that because she’s so not,” continues Kris. “She’s super polite and zero attitude at all, really down to earth. She’s always so gracious, thankful and appreciative.”

Courtney was initially upset by the way fans were bashing her. “I think at first it was shocking and she felt like hiding,” admits Kris. “I tell her, ‘Be happy they’re talking about you. I’m sure for just as many people that hate you, there are twice as many who love you.’”

“[Now,] it’s gotten to the point where we sat there and laughed about all the things they were saying,” says Kris. “She’s one of those who takes it with a grain of salt, like, ‘This is what it is. I signed up for it, so let it be.’”

Though Kris doesn’t know if Courtney ends up with Ben, he is rooting for her to win. “He seems like a more normal guy, not this rich dude with a vineyard. He seems down-to-earth,” notes Kris. “I could see them having fun together. With a girl like that, any guy would be a fool not to pick her.”

But there’s one thing Ben could do to better himself. “He needs a haircut,” Kris says with a laugh.

The show absolutely edited it to make Courtney look like the villan. It annoyed me from the start how every time she was in a scene they started to play dark brooding music in the background. She was totally bullied by the other girls in the house so if she came out with some mean comments in return it is not right but it is understandable given the fact that everyone was ganging up on her. I think they were all just jealous because she is beautiful. It is completely unfair the way that people are attacking her now. She should not have had to experience being interrogated on national television and bashed in the press. People should save their hate for the real villans in society like rapists and murderers. Courtney does not deserve this treatment.

Sounds like she has her hairdresser just as fooled as she has Ben. OR …. Hi Courtney! Why are you pretending to be your own hairdresser!

She has a hair dresser? Really?
My opinion of Ben – a real dork. That’s why he has to be on the Bachelor to get a girl.

Models in LA are seriously a dime a dozen. Doubt she makes a living modeling. Still shots at least don’t reveal her weird lips when she speaks.

Here’s the deal. Either Ben is deaf, dumb, and blind, or he doesn’t care that Courtney’s a b—-. Maybe that’s what he wants.
The only reason Courtney is feeling remorse now is because she knows that the shows almost over and Ben will be watching the episode back.
Poor Emily trying to apologize. The slut would have none of it because she’s unforgiving. Ben better think about that. First time he makes he angry, she’ll hold a grudge like…forever?

Since when do nice girls seduce men behind other women’s backs? Is Charlie Sheen’s line “Winning” really all that nice? Refusing an apology and basically starting a cat fight with the Emily for trying to be nice. Yea She is a sweetie alright………..NOT You can blae editing all you want but the worrds came out of her mouth. Calling Kasie a “little girl in a little boy’s body”? Exactly how does that come out of context????? This show has sunk to new levels. Ben is simply an idiot. I suppose all the other girls just decided for the heck of it to gang up on her? REALLY?

Super nice when you get what you want, that is and will always be CR. HOW stupid can you be to not get THAT??? SHE IS and always has been a manipulator, she says evil things – no matter how they edit – it still came out of her SHE DEVIL – mouth. Ben is vulnerable and following his biological drive – No man in his right mind wouldn’t want to get NAKED with her. But it is the elitist tormentor mentality of her that will always get in the way. She deserves NOBODY, EVER. I have an idea – photoshop CR and grey her hair, add lines to her face, give her a shopping cart full of rags and put her underneath the SANTA MONICA BRIDGE….NOW, that’s the CR I SEE….

re your first sentence- exactly. so many people in life don’t get that. the indicator of a person’s true character is not what they show when they’re winning, but what they show when they are not. it’s easy to be nice and happy when you’re richer/prettier/thinner/younger/whatever than someone else. but, let’s see how you act when you’re not- that’s the true test. we all know they edit the sh!t out of all reality shows- but, as everyone has pointed out, she still has said and done what she said. the context of the statements may change an extremely offensive statement to a mildly offensive statement- but it’s still offensive. hopefully she owns up to this behavior, and the attacks she’s likely to continue to get for awhile, and maybe she’ll become a better person.

Wow, just saw a clip from US about when Ben confronts her after Kacie B. returns to warn him about Courtney. So awkward and interesting. Courtney blurts out stuff like “it’s all in the past”, “enough about that,” in her little baby voice. She looks like a trapped animal. She looks worried that she may not win. The hair playing and crazy lip crap were full on. as someone else said, editing can only be blamed so much- girl after girl telling him she’s nasty and what they say in exit interviews says it all.

wow, what he said is so full of contradictions- ‘she needs a thick skin’,’ it’s just a defence mechanism,’ BUT she’s really nice and has no attitude. Sure. We’re not buying it. She had to have said all those things, no matter how they edit it. Anything that she says that seems remorseful where it’s just her voice now is obviously something producers have edited in after the fact when they realized how annoying and narcissistic she is rather than just ‘entertaining’ like they’d hoped.

Well he’s right about two things. One,Ben needs a haircut and two Courtney can be a nice girl (I’m sure anyone can) and there was a lot of editing invloved. But attitude and personality isn’t something that can be forced or edited. Besides when almost ALL of the women in the house say the EXACT same thing about someone and not because of jealousy either? Hmmm? Sorry hairstylist…you can fake that!

Think about the source — he is a man and he is her hair stylist. He gets PAID to hang out with her and he is not competition in her mind.

Most women have female friends to stick up for them. Case in point. Oh, and ask Jesse about her and he will implode.
