It sounds like Kim Kardashian has paid her way out of one PR disaster — her former publicist turned Kim-basher has settled out of court with her.
Kim Kardashian, 31, sealed publicist Jonathan Jaxson‘s lips from ever accusing her again of having a “staged” wedding and even got him to release a public apology.
“Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson,” states her lawyers. “Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter.”
Jonathan, who claimed he worked for Kim from 2007-2009, has repeatedly told news outlets that Kim faked her way to the altar. As part of the settlement, he had to release an apology on his website.
“I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian,” he wrote. “I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim’s relationship with Kris.” (Do you feel him gritting his teeth, people?)
It appears Kim worked quickly to put the kibosh on Jonathan, especially since he recently hired Kris Humphries’s lawyer to represent him against the K-Fam.
Although this may be one legal victory for Kim, it’s peanuts compared to her ongoing divorce proceedings with Kris and — not to mention — the release of ex bf Ray J’s tell-all book that puts her in a really bad light…and no amount of bronzer will be able to hide these flaws.
