'Gossip Girl' Spoiler: Blair's Intense Moment With Chuck & Dan

‘Gossip Girl’ fans, don’t give up hope yet! Executive Producer Joshua Safran and Jake Coburn reveal in this new video that next week’s episode will give Chair AND Dair fans a lot to talk about! Perhaps Blair will have a change of heart for good?

The only obstacle keeping Blair (Leighton Meester) from moving forward with Dan– or back to Chuck — is her prenup with Louis (Hugo Becker). And in this new preview her beloved stepdad Cyrus (Wallace Shawn) may have found a way around it!

This, of course, is good news because it means Blair’s feelings for Dan (Penn Badgley) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) will truly be tested because there will finally be nothing to stop her. And even though on the Feb. 20 episode Blair chose Dan and even received Serena’s (Blake Lively) blessing, Chuck is not out of the picture.

Jake Coburn, Gossip Girl co-producer, says there’s going to be some “great triangle stuff” that will happen between Chuck, Blair and Dan on Feb. 27 episode. Let’s just hope it ends on Chuck’s favor.

Thanks everyone 4 not giving up on Chuck and Blair..you know people in wrong situation always make the worst decision of their life and we all know Blair is in the same situation..of course she made her worst decision of her life time..i mean choosing Humphrey…don’t worry Chair fans sooner or later she’s going to understand she cant live without Chuck….

I’m sure G will kill that loophole before Blair can even use it and Chuck will pay the dowry.
Not worried about Dan because Blair will find her way back to him until then I will cover my eyes when DB are together since I block out their scenes anyway plus love how even Blair acts like she doesn’t really want to be with him because you so know she is still all about Chuck

I LOVED Chair in season 1&2, I honestly thought they were perfect for each other! But, I kind of felt that after the season 2 finale, in which both Chuck and Blair said “I love you”, they just…froze. Always fighting, then making up, then breaking up, dating other people, making up and then breaking up AGAIN. I’d probably still be shipping Chair if the writers hadn’t made drama a crucial part of their relationship.

But, as it is now, I’m totally rooting for Dair! Even if they’re not endgame it would be nice to see both of them happy together, at least for a little while. And like it or not, this was bound to happen eventually – they both have been paired with all the other characters on the show, so you could kind of see it coming.

This whole Dan and Blair thing has really been a reach for the writers. I mean I just can’t get over it. Why on earth would they write them in to become all close, when Dan is the one guy, her best friend, Serena has ever loved? His character is disgusting, the way he treats these women and once he looses interest in Blair he will treat her the exact same way. And as for Blair, well now its official. She has been with every one of the male characters on the show, all she needs to do now is jump in Rufes’ pants. This whole story line makes me sick, sick, sick. You really couldn’t come up with a better plot GG writers?! DISAPPOINTED.

whoa, what’s up with all the hate? it’s not like ANY of the characters on the show has been a saint! and come on, serena lost her virginity to the guy who BLAIR thought was the love of her life.

and dan, treating women like trash? seriously? did you even WATCH gossip girl? last time I checked, chuck had an entire book with phone numbers from girls he slept with – one that nate borrowed after breaking up with serena!

of course you are entitled to your own opinion, but just take a deep breath and calm down – it’s just a show! and as for the plot? well, I don’t know about you, but I tend to get tired of shows that never tries different things.

Triangle? What triangle? Blair went from huge undying love to an utter mess in half an episode. Obviously she’s going to pick Dan, because 1)they’ve spent 2.5 seasons tearing down CB just so it would be “believable” for her to date Dan and 2) no one ever tells him no. (I find it shocking that every girl Dan has ever liked dates him eventually, especially with that hair.)

Aside from that, she was kissing him in front of Serena last week, so I think she’s already picked him. Shame I don’t care to watch any of that “Terrific Triangle”.

Blair already chose Dan over Chuck last week, unfortunately, so I don’t believe anything Safran says. Poor Chuck just needs to move on with his life, because he deserves better right now.

Get the triangle crap OVER!!! We have already had pointless Louis to deal with and this storyline will be no different. We just want Chuck and Blair back together again after all these years of pointless obstacles, which are only there because the writers can’t write a ‘happy couple’. Chuck and Blair both singly and together are the reason why the majority of people watch this show ;)

Why do they make DB even more contrived then it already was? I mean an essay. If they were going to do that theycould of least put it at a different time. She was dating Nate then and he was a good bf at that time. Can I say that the I want more I want you, thing was so douchey. didnt you promise her hed always be there? and do dair fans remember how he treated vannessa? and now Serena? but its all okay aslong as hes blairs savior and knight and shining armor. he likes vulnerable girls. thats why he was always after S. he likes being there for them, why do you want blair to be a damsel in distress? this is not blair and i need her back. i cant stand to see her like this.

I can’t wait for Ban to be over with. I feel like the writers have completely jumped the shark with that relationship. I want my Chair back! :(

Here’s hoping the end of the episode gives us CBers something to look forward to. Even though most of us will be watching Victor Victrola instead to pay homage to the REAL history of the show.

Now,i don’t think that the whole episode will be nice for chair fans because Blair will forgive Dan about the video he send on her wedding or she will think that is part of Chuck’s and Georgina’s scheme and that will make her go to Dan.
But..when something starts based on lies and specters is not gonna last so as a Blair fan i know that she will star rethinking her actions at some point and wake up.

I hate, hate, hate this triangle- I think it pretty much cheapens all of the major relationships on this show, and I certainly won’t be watching this episode.

But at this point, Blair is being so awful I kind of just want her to get with Dan so they can go be awful together and let the other characters have great scenes without them.

Then when she realizes she’s made a horrible mistake and goes back to Chuck, he will have moved on already. I still want Chair back together eventually, but not when Blair’s acting like this. S5 Blair = the worst.

I cannot wait till DB is over, hopefully sooner than later. We want Queen B back, the one who wanted to be powerful ON HER OWN. I’ll never question Chair as endgame, but rn she needs to get herself together. Just hope Chuck doesn’t end the epi sad w/ his scotch; it’s getting old -.-

800k viewers is horrid. wow.

I can’t wait for this Dan and Blair nonsense to crash and burn I won’t be watching but I’ll enjoy hearing about it. :D And CBers shouldn’t even care about this triangle because it’s a complete joke. The day Blair actually shows any love towards Dan then we’ll talk “triangle” but as of now it’s all about how much Dan can love her and has done for her, she has done nothing for him. How is that a love story? Blair is being really selfish in that sense and we all know that is not like her. She is a fierce and loyal friend and partner to those she loves. Even to her own detriment at times…

So what if this article is biased? it’s not like other sites aren’t as well. If you want to read about how Dan and Blair are the greatest thing since sliced bread go somewhere else!
