Recovering from her eating disorders and substance abuse issues, Demi Lovato is all the more wiser about how she feels about herself — and what she’s looking for in her future boyfriend.
Demi Lovato, 19, says she has “a lot more confidence” than she did a year ago and tells The Daily Mail she needs a man who’ll be there for her at a moment’s notice. Take it or leave it, boys!
“I come with baggage,” she tells DM. “I’ve been through a lot and I need somebody who’s going to be there for me at any point, day or night, and is not going to be afraid of my eating disorder and recovery process. I want a man who’s going to be strong.”
So does this mean ex Wilmer Valderrama wasn’t strong enough to handle Demi? The actress/pop star isn’t saying either way.
“I would like to keep my love life out of this. I’ve learnt not to go public with a relationship because the break-up will be 20 times harder,” she confides.
