Chris seems convinced that Courtney was telling Ben the truth when she said that she was falling in love with him during the Feb. 20 episode.
Courtney Robertson has fooled Ben Flajnik into keeping her around as part of the final three contenders on The Bachelor. But despite all of the harsh comments that have come out of her mouth, Courtney still told Ben that she’s falling in love with him during the Feb. 20 episode. Whether this was another lie to win the game or not, Bachelor host Chris Harrison seems to believe that Courtney honestly poured her heart out to Ben.
“I found it interesting to hear that upon reflection, Courtney isn’t happy about the way she acted towards the other women and regrets it,” Chris explains Courtney’s bad behavior in his Entertainment Weekly blog. “It seems that her demeanor was one big defense mechanism.”
“This doesn’t excuse everything she’s done and she still has some explaining to do, but at the very least, this was a great glimpse into what makes her tick,” Chris says. “I think not living with the other women anymore gave Courtney some time to reflect on her actions.”
It sounds like Chris is convinced that Courtney was being sincere with Ben about her feelings of love. “It really showed an interesting side of Courtney,” he writes. “She definitely opened up to Ben and expressed her love to him, but it was very hard and uncomfortable for her. She had trouble reading her vows and it seemed like it was really hard for her to spit it out.”
“The most important thing though is her relationship with Ben,” Chris continues. “Ben gets her and appreciates the way she is.”

Does anyone see through her ‘apology’? She was feeling the most remorse for what SHE has gone through in the press. She cried and talked about how painful it was to be ridiculed in the mags, and that her family suffered. At no point did she express genuine sorrow for how she made the other women feel. She is sorry for causing herself problems.
