The troubled singer paid tribute to his ex-wife during his show — find out what he said.
Whitney Houston‘s Feb. 18 funeral was beautiful, and although Bobby Brown caused a ruckus by leaving the ceremony before it began, he found time to play a concert with his group New Edition later that evening.
Whitney, who was 48, was remembered by her family in a ceremony at the New Hope Baptist Church in Westfield, New Jersey. Unfortunately, Bobby, 43, stormed out of the funeral when he was not allowed in with his big entourage.
But he took to the stage several hours later at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with his band New Edition. It seemed to be an emotional concert for him, especially as the Daily Mail reports that he announced, “I want to give blessings to my ex-wife, Whitney Houston, I love you. I want to give blessings to my kids, my fiancée, my brothers, and each of you.”
Should Bobby have cancelled his concert, HollywoodLifers?
