Whitney houston is in hell. Whitney was a drug and alcohol addict who partied till the point of her death. Whitney houston was an immoral shameless whore with a bad temper. Repent and come to Jesus christ for salvation from sin. Hell is real. Accept Jesus as lord and saviour. Turn away from your evil and immoral ways.

What people didn’t know Kevin Costner won an Oscar for best director for dancing with wolves, and that film won for best picture back in 1990. His a good actor his one of my favorite. He gave a warm heartfelt tribute to Whitney. You Rock Kevin!!!

Can’t stand Kevin Costner. A dullwitted farmboy who struck it rich by bad acting about stupid movies. They had to put him in Whitney’s movie because he was so bad, he’d make her look great. Mission accomplished.

Kevin Costner, I think you should have married Whitney. You looked and felt so right together in “The Bodyguard”, 20 years ago! That movie was splendid and unforgettable. You would have brought out all the greatness in her Kevin, with a better ending I’m sure.

When I watched “The Bodyguard” I was hoping that the story would end with a happy love ending for Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston to be together forever. I was sad and touched that they both had to go on separate ways with the song, “I Will Always Love You” played in the background. The impact of the two co-stars were breathtaking and splendid!

so many commenters say they should have gotten together. well he had a mrs costner at the time, and she, tragically, had bobby thug running around in hers. you could credit both for being monogamous and loyal to their partners at that time. but for whitney, it was tragic that she stuck with bobby.

Pat, I second that thought. I also think that one of her fans could have written moving letters to her fan club to reach out to her, letting her call them to lend an ear, their arms open to give her a hug, hold her hand in her darkest moments, & letting Whitney be herself. We regular folks might have been able to show her what an impact she made in the music industry & in the world. She wouldn’t have given up if there was someone who would do these things.

Kevin Costner ggave the best remebrance of Whitney. It was warm, heartfelt and sincere. I do believe Kevin really cared for Whitney. Wished he could have been a real bodyguard in her life, and rushed to rescue her, and showed her how real love by a man could uplift her life and make it sparkle even more. Rest in peace beautiful Whitney. We love you.

Kevin Costner gave one of the greatest speeches for a funeral I have ever heard. He is a true friend. Both are meant for each other as friends and co-stars.

The New Hope Baptist Church is in Newark, NJ, not Westfield. Westfield is the location of the cemetery where Houston will be buried.

For all commenting on Kevin Costner, why was her there? Why did he speak? He had been a friend for 20 years!!Maybe he was a real friend, not the kind who claimed to be and helped destroy her.He obviously saw the best in her and wanted the best. That’s why he was there speaking!

Bodyguard was done 20 years ago. There have been many interracial movies since then.Everyone’s talking about it like it happened yesterday.I don’t know anyone who gives a crap about these things.I’m glad he got her into the movie, the Hollywood exec’s were dummies anyway.I watched it 20 years ago and I didn’t know anyone who had a problem with it then. They don’t know that much about moviegoers anyway, the crap they put out tells me that.Whitney Houston was beautiful, talented and I never knew anyone who thought otherwise.

Are you upset about the way he commented on the racist barriers that talented black people has to go through on a daily basis in Hollywood?

Kevin Kostner was the best of the speeches on the day. He spoke the truth whether you like it or not.

Kevin C was just a middle aged has been actor when filming the movie with her; he never met her before that. Besides, all he wanted back then was to taste some fine mocca chocolate!

Who is Kevin Costner? Why does he matter? She made that film the success it was. Kostner was a has-been by that time. These actors are sure full of themselves.

i kinda thought the same— not necessarily that he’s a nobody, but what a small part he had in her life? right? but maybe the family wanted to show the depth of her success at its peak— so, to showcase her movie career, he was relevant. an odd choice of speaker, when you look at her life as a whole, but… whatever the family wanted to see/hear, that’s all that matters.

The two were long time friends, not just co stars on a movie. Do some research before posting.

The film “Body Guard” could not have been made and allowing Whitney Houston to be part of the marketing packages without the breaking down of racist ideals as inherited in the film industry.

Kevin Costner put up resistance to these racist barriers in order for the film to become a success for both him and Whitney Houston. Of course, she was black and also beautiful but she could be successful in the genré of acting.

That is what Mr Costner discovered, not the colour of her skin but of the talent she possessed and inherited.

It appears that most of the comments on these pages are intertwined with racist connotations.

No wonder why Hollywood is still racist today as it was in the days of making of “Star Trek” on TV and as depicted in “Guess Who Is Coming To Dinner”.
