Whitney Houston Funeral: Bobby Brown Abandons Bobbi Kristina At Service

The singer left his ex-wife’s funeral because he couldn’t enter with his huge entourage — he wasn’t thinking about his troubled daughter at all! What a jerk!

Whitney Houston‘s funeral was a beautiful tribute to the legendary singer, but Bobby Brown cast a dark shadow on the day by not going to the service, abandoning his struggling daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown!

Bobby, 43, attempted to attend the Feb. 18 funeral at the New Hope Baptist Church in Westfield, New Jersey, but was stopped at the door, TMZ reports. The reason? His nine-person entourage was too big and he refused to pare it down to the two guests he had been invited to bring!

Apparently, Bobby made a stink about not getting to sit his posse next to 18-year-old Bobbi. But as the event was invitation-only, they couldn’t be accommodated — so he bailed!

This all comes in the midst of news that Bobbi’s family wants to send her to rehab, due to her worsening state surrounding the loss. We’re disgusted that Bobby couldn’t put his ego aside and support his child!

I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina. OMG People. What are you talking about. Bobby Brown’s life before, during and since Whitney is a joke. A big drug and women infested joke. And yes, Whitney may not have been perfect prior to him, but her life became way out of control since being with him. No he is not to blame for her death, but he was HUGE negative influence on her life. He was not one of the positive forces in her life. From where I stand, the only contribution he made to her was that little girl. So please stop portraying him as an innocent person.

Cissy is a mother, if any of you have a daughter, maybe one day you will feel your child’s pain is your pain. Hopefully, you will never have to watch your child live the life she did while with Bobby Brown. But she had to endure that, and if she feels the need to protect her Grand Daughter from his influence, so be it.

Bobby Kristina needs a father, not a man that is clearly in this for himself. He had no right to bring a posse to this funeral. That proves he’s trying to still get attention after all this, it has to be about him. Why can’t he come with the one guest he was allowed just like everybody else. Give me a break. God how I pray for Bobbi Kristina, that she finds peace throughout all this drama and pain in her life. And that she makes something of herself despite all this. It won’t be easy, but it can be done.

He was invited with his children and he brought his children. This is a bout Whitney not Bobby, he is the father of Bobbi I think they should have accommodated him what has happened has happened they were both in drugs and they gave each other support during their marriage. Whitney was on drugs before meeting Brown it can not be entirely his fault. They have not been together for 6 years but still Whitney did not stop the booze and drugs so why is it Brown to be blamed for everything, and how much did her family do to help her get out of drugs? Did they try harder? Still Bobbi needed her father by her side during this time, I think it was not the time to start pointing fingers at Brown.

The “crowd” with Bobby Brown were his children. Whitney’s step-children, Bobbi Kristina’s siblings, she was part of their lives also for 15 years. The drama was after they were seated 3 times having them moved. Tell the right story and not the negative one.

The drama was when Bobby continued to tell his crew/children to come up to the front rows after there where SEVERAL discussions prior to his arrival that he was only to bring 2 people & he agreed but then turned around & brought an entourage & even after security allowed them aka Whitney step-children in Bobby had to pull his sh*t! Security made an exception & allowed them in with the understanding they were to sit with the Uncle NOT in the first 3 rows!! Bobby should have been focused on Bobbi Kris at that point instead of repeatedly trying to sneak his group up to the front before eventually leaving. He wasnt there out of respect but rather to bring more media attention to himself because hes such an opportunist piece of sh*t!! I pray that Bobbi Kris gets through all this & comes out even stronger & that she dosent allow her father to impact her in a negative way anymore like he has her entire life, the poor girl…

Looks like Whitneys family are the crazies. If this is what good Christians do in the everyday life, Cissy needs a lesson on how to handle a proper funeral for her daughter.

Bobby was not resposible for her death, look at her own Mother and friends who kept feeding her the drugs, booze etc. Bobby stay strong, when your daughter is in rehab, you can step in. Let Cissy and her loons ruin this girl too.

Aretha told Al Roker that she thought the right thing to happen now is for Bobby to be a father to Krissi and be an important part of her life. Aretha didn’t look very sick in yesterday’s interview.

I think that Aretha’s support of a Bobby/Krissi relationship made Cissy mad, and that is why Aretha wasn’t there today. I don’t think she was sick.

It looked like Dionne didn’t know Aretha wasn’t going to be there either. She actually introduced her as if she was there, and then backpedaled.

I know she’s hurtin but Ms. Cissy is wrong here. Krissi needs her father. She don’t have to live with him, but she does need him in her life.

Calling ourselves Christian is very dear, living a Christian life requires forgiveness, they should have accommendative him in what way they can. Bobby and his other children should’ve been able to be seated next to Bobbi Kris..Whitney loved them all. Bobby didn’t do anything to Whitney, she was a grow woman and made her own choices. I hope Bobbi Kris will let the death of her mom be a mirror for her, drugs only lead us to death. People want to be rich, but seriously, look at the out come most of the time.

I agree with you totally Friend in ATL. SHE REALLY NEEDS HER FATHER. Good or bad. That is still her father. I know Ms. Houston is hurting. But this is not the right way to deal with this. I pray that she and Bobby can work this out. Don’t allow the devil to further drive this family apart. Bobby needs to be a steady rock for Bobbi Krist. along with Ms. Houston. They both need to be there for her. There are some many way her life can go now. This is a cruical time for her. Praying for the family; Love, peace and strength.

Bobby did what he felt was best, leave him alone! It’s unfortaunate that he could not be w/his daughter but the past is called the past for a reason. Move forward, support BK Brown now! She needs all the love that her father/everyone can give to her for all the years to come. Life is hard, BKB needs her father & the love of others to support her in the difficult road ahead. Why is everyone so opinionated about events not totally clear. Some information is hearsay. Bobby alleges entourage was Bobby Kristina’s siblings. The lady at his side was his sister. Whitney did show up for Bobby Brown’s mother funeral last year.

Bobby Brown is sober. People should stop blaming him for his late ex-wife’s relapse & relying on what TMZ writes. Bonnie, you know their copy is written by 20 somethings who are going on their speculation 75% of the time.
Whitney did not have ‘Blood’ on her leg, it was dried drops of spilled wine. She was in a club for crying out loud.
The pics of her leaving tru in Hollywood are a misnomer. Standing on the side of a stage all night, sweating under the lights, smoking a cig, big deal. But, everyone is blowing it out of proportion.
Do some research. Her wet hair at the Bev Hilton is from being at the swimming pool.
Weak heart from years of coke, she needed a 5 hour energy drink not Xanax and champagne.

Hell, if they had put a scale on the entrances floor, they could have had plenty of room. Only allow those who weighed 280 lbs or below in. That would have cleared out about 50% of the seats. No wonder she died broke, poor thing, if she had to feed most of those people in the church.
But seriously, room was found for RayJ, RayJ? Others who could have given up their seats without any problem could have been Governor Krispy Kream Kristy who I’m sure took up 3 children’s seats, Diane Sawyer, Oprah Winfrey and Stevie Wonder who also looked like he took up 3 children seats. Right there is 10 seats of people that should not have been there if it stopped him and his family from attending. Bobby Kristina is part of their family now. As sad as that sounds, it is as it is.

To all the people that is judging Bobby Brown is awful. This man should have been allowed no matter what to be with his daughter at the time of need.
