Beyonce’s sister is mom to a 7-year-old boy, but she’s not going to tell Bey how to raise little Blue Ivy!
Beyonce‘s sis Solange Knowles can’t stop gushing about her new niece Blue Ivy, but she says Beyonce and Jay-Z are on their own when it comes to raising the little one! “I think it’s really important for every mother to find their own way,” she says in a new interview with Rollacoaster magazine, according to The Daily Mail. “I think it’s actually the most annoying thing when you’re a new mom and you’re getting so much advice from other mothers!”
“You really just have to feel it out for yourself,” she says. “But she’s my best friend and we talk at least every other day.”
Even though she won’t be giving Beyonce mommy tips, Solange definitely loves being around the newest family member. “It’s very different to being a mother, but there’s still that sort of magnetic bond and love that you can’t even put words on to describe,” she says.
“I think babies in general are so lovable — and my sister’s baby, Blue, is so beautiful,” she continued. “She is really a beautiful little baby. It’s really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl, too.”
