Bobbi Kristina Brown Arrives At Whitney Houston's Private Wake

Whitney Houston Wake

Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter looked somber as she got out of her car and headed into her mom’s wake in Newark, N. J. Feb. 17

This is the first photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown arriving at her mom Whitney Houston‘s private wake in Newark, N.J. earlier today.

Wearing jeans, a black top and sunglasses, the 18-year-old daughter appeared serious, but under control as she carried her purse into the private ceremony. Following her mom’s death Feb. 12, Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized for an emotional breakdown.

Although she’s doing better now and staying with her grandmother, sources tell us the teen is still emotionally unstable. Her mom’s invite-only funeral will take place Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bobbi Kristina and her family during this difficult time.

God bless you Krissy and always remember your Moyher will always be watching over you . With that in your heart and mind be that daughther that your Mother always loved. I do feel that Clive Davis and Kevin Kostner should have gotten special recognition and more appreciation from Whitney’s family.

As a 13yr old teen i walked in and found my mother dead with the needle still in her arm. I never turned to drugs. Instead I went to school and earned a degree in BusMgmt because everyone used to tell me that i would end up just like her. So i pray that she’ll do just like me and show them better than she could tell them.

So, she wears jeans to a private wake. Haven’t you? Prayers to this young lady that has this burden to bare from now on. Shame to the “divas” that need a reality check to understand this is this girls real life– not your blog spot.

You should fall in a mud puddle somewhere.

i can’t believe this hefer is wearing jeans. I don’t care if she is 18 years old. That is disrespectful to Whitney. I understand she is grieving, but come on now “jeans.”

Val or whatever you think you are. You better take a good look at yourself. Judge nobody you don’t know. I think its shallow for you to make comments based on pictures and media coverage. I suppose you think vampires are real after the twilight saga? Judge yourself not others. This is Americas girl now. Because her Mother was loved that much. We don’t need to hear the garbage come out of your mouth. I guess you weren’t raised right. You need to look into yourself before you judge this young women.

Never knew her personaly but wish i could have met her. GOD BLESS YOU WHITNEY AND REST IN PEACE!

I wish everyone would keep there comments about what they think this young women should or shouldn’t be doing. Everyone has lost somebody they love. This young girl had enough to deal with when her Mother was living. I can’t imagine how hard it is to lose her mother. When everywhere she goes! There is a camera in her face. Losing a Mother is one thing. But losing a Mother as famous as hers. Imagine the stress. And she is only 18 yrs old. My heart goes out to her and the rest of her Mothers family. I wish the best for you Bobbi Kristina.

TO: KATHY; TALK ABOUT RESPECT AND BEING DISRESPECTFUL; FOR HEAVENS SAKE, YOU FOCUS ON CLOTHES NOT EVEN SENDING CONDOLENCES TO THE POOR CHILD, JUST LOST HER MOTHER!!! WHERE IS YOUR RESPECT??? ARE YOU THAT HEARTLESS AND UNFEELING?? GIRL, THAT WAS THE COLDEST REMARK, AT A TIME LIKE THIS; NOT TO MENTION THE GRIEF THIS CHILD HAS TO BARE AT THE LOSE OF HER MOTHER, SHE’S GOT TO BARE THE REST OF HER LIFE WITHOUT A MOTHER….. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR MOTHER??? IF SO, I HOPE SHE SEES THIS AND TEACHES YOU A LESSON ON RESPECT!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! GOT NOTHING NICE TO SAY, SAY “NOTHING AT ALL”

You must not know they wear jeans to everything if they are not in the lime light. Whitney LOVED jeans and to be comfortable.. I KNOW.

An invited GUEST to funeral.

Are you serious!? The girl just loss her mother. Do you seriously think that dressing up like a fashionista would be her first priority!? Are you out of your mind? It’s a FN funeral not a “Cover Girl” parade. I don’t see anything being disrespectful by wearing jeans at the funeral. I mean she looks decent and that’s all that maters. BK, May God always be with you in times of happiness and sorrow. My deepest sympathy to you and your love once. RIP Ms.Nippy 8) You will always be remembered.
