Katy Perry used the Grammys to debut her new revenge song against Russell Brand, “Part of Me,” and her message came through loud and clear to the one person it was directed to most.
Katy Perry got her revenge on her soon to be ex-husband, Russell Brand, by singing her heated new single, “Part of Me,” at the Grammys this year and apparently, the 36-year-old British comedian caught drift of her message to him — that he can have everything, but her.
“Russell called Katy a few times after her Grammy performance, but she just ignored his calls,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She and Rihanna are planning a trip and Rihanna is trying to get her to date again.”
As we first told you, Katy and Russell’s marriage crumbled after a major fight over Christmas weekend, which led to Russell filing for divorce from the 27-year-old pop star. Despite no battles over their settlement, it’s obvious the former love birds are harboring animosity toward each other: Katy signed the divorce papers with a smiley face and then sang her rage-filled song in front of millions at the Grammys.
Do you think Russell was upset by the song or did it make him miss her? Do you think they’ll ever get back together?
