Bobby Brown will waste no time getting back to work, playing a show at the Mohegan Sun in Conn. following his late ex-wife’s funeral Feb. 18
Only hours after Whitney Houston‘s funeral in Newark, NJ Feb. 18, Bobby Brown will take the stage with New Edition, the boy band that made him famous. New Edition was on tour in Mississippi when the news of the singers death broke, but he went on to perform anyway.
NBC Connecticut reports, “New Edition resumed its tour without Brown, but he will perform on Thursday night in Maryland, at Mohegan Sun on Saturday and then in Newark, New Jersey on Sunday, according to spokespeople for Mohegan Sun. The Mohegan Sun show begins at 8 p.m.”
Originally, Bobby was planning on taking time to be with his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, during this difficult time, but he’s since changed his mind.
