Bobbi Kristina Likely To Relapse Into Drugs And Alcohol

Considering Bobbi Kristina has had a reported past history of cocaine and alcohol abuse, she’s quite likely to relapse now that she’s dealing with the tragic death of her mother.

Bobbi Kristina, 18, has had an unimaginably difficult week. Not only has she lost her mother and best friend, Whitney Houston, but she’s also been hospitalized twice due to emotional duress. HollywoodLife.com asked an expert what she thinks of Bobbi Kristina’s condition and how she can get better.

Clare Waismann Kavin, an addiction specialist and administrative director of the Waismann Method (www.opiates.com), believes Bobbi Kristina is in a dire situation and says the likelihood of her relapsing into her old drug-using ways is “very high.”

“She’s a child and most of her life she’s learned how to cope with emotions with mood-altering drugs. I don’t know if she knows how to cope,” Kavin says.

So what does she believe is the best way the troubled teenager can be supported?

“With tremendous amount of love…[and] moving in with her family and being away from the entertainment world,” Kavin says. “It’s going to be a very hard transition for her. She’s had a very hard, unstable life. Parents with drug and alcohol issues have kids that act like a parent to them. She’s going through a lot of ‘What ifs.’”

Únfortunately, it is almost normal to go back into old habits and behaviors more easily after a loss, seperation or sth. else traumatic, unless one has learnt different coping strategies. This isn’t only about Bobbi Kristina but a problem for many people.

My prayers are with the mother and daughter of Ms Houston as we as with Bobby Brown. In order for Sissy to move forward she must remember what the Bible days “forgive”. That includes her former Son-in-law Bobby Brown. He should be allowed to be with his daughter. God says FORGIVE. Bobby is trying to clean up his life style. He knows the Lord too. We loved Whitney but God loved her best. He called His beautiful flower because He had a special place for her in His garden. I love Aretha for all the good comments she shared during her interview. The world may dig for negative but God Word says (and this is my paraphrase) “man looks on the outside but God looks at the HEART. That is what we are doing. May the Lord bless and keep you may his face shine upon you and give you peace. Bobbi Kristina please look to Jesus. Family surround her with love and positive support in Jesus mighty matchless marvelous name I send this with all the love I feel.

Bobbi Kristina had a terrible example of life coping from both of her parents. As much as I loved Whitney, she set a low bar when it came to parenting. Sorry Whitney and fans.
This girl is in jeopardy . God be with her. Much Love BK.

Bobbi Kristina, if you ever read this, you are a beautiful young woman, with the same amazing talent as your mother. She took the world by storm with her beautiful voice, as she was also a very beautiful woman. PLEASE don’t turn to drugs, you could have a great life ahead of you, and we all ask you to NOT turn to drugs. We love you! Love, Bobbi Hope Rayna

my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. your mother was a beautiful person, regardless of her demons. sometimes it takes things like this to happen, in order for reality to hit. i believe in god, and when your number is up, it is time to go home. may the lord be your strenght in this time of need. all you need to remember is this, she never meant to cause you grief and she will always be with you. god bless. the people who have such opinionate voices choose to focus on other people’s problems to avoid their own demons. let them if that is what gives them peace of mind, but remember this, they all must face themselves someday. you do whatever it takes to deal with what ur going through, because until they have walked in ur shoes, they really don;’t know. kiss your grandma, she feels your pain, probable more then you know or understand. no parent should ever have to bury a child.

I feel at this present time she should be surrounded with people who can relate with her. People her own age and who are drug and alcohol free. She must be able to say and feel without the influence or peer pressure of drugs. She must be able to have the opportunity to live and be a normal child out of the spot light of her parents and extended family. I wish that she reaches out more for God in this time of her life so she can gain the legs she will need to stand strong
