Former ‘X-Factor’ star Stacy Francis is sorry she almost came to blows with Whitney Houston just two days before the singer’s death.
On Feb. 9 Stacy Francis, 42, got into a pushing match with an irate Whitney Houston, 48, after the iconic singer flipped out on her for talking to her on-and-off again boyfriend, Ray J, 31.
“I deeply regret the events that led to Thursday’s misunderstanding, but I respect and love [Whitney] more than I can say,” tweeted the reality star on Feb. 12.
She added: “This is a sad time for me. I loved Whitney Houston with all my heart. She was such an amazing musical influence for me.”
But during the events of Feb. 9, Stacy was singing a different tune — but she wasn’t the instigator.
After Whitney performed “Yes, Jesus Loves Me” at Tru Hollywood and exited the stage, a source told RadarOnline that she went on the attack when she saw Ray J and Stacy — who’s purportedly a long-time family friend of his — chatting.
“[Whitney] ran over to them and began screaming, ‘This is my man! I’m a cougar! B*tch, get away from my man,’” said the source. Another eyewitness claimed the troubled singer had been heavily drinking tequila that night.
While Ray J tried to diffuse the situation, Stacy apparently tried to, too.
“Whitney, I love you baby,” Stacy said. “It’s not like that. Calm down, you’re causing a scene.”
But Whitney was inconsolable. Apparently, she shoved Stacy’s forehead, and then Stacy shoved her right back.
Regardless of almost getting into fisticuffs with the legend, the ‘X-Factor’ singer ended her series of personal tweets about Whitney with respect.
“I will always remember her to be a deeply humane person and wish her spirit to rest in peace,” she wrote.

Stacy francis, leave your prostitution and whorish lifestyle. Repent from smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. Abandon drugs. Stop fighting over foolish men like Ray J. Stop nightclubbing and partying. Come to Jesus for the salvation of your soul if you do not want to join Whitney houston in hell. Accept Jesus christ as your lord and personal savior. Hell is real.

Whitney was a very sweet talented young lady that should be remembered for all the positive things she accomplished in life. She should not be called an addict. She was basically a good person who met the wrong person–a person who was indeed a bad influence on her life. It ii heartbreaking about her death. God bless her family–esp. her mother and precious daughter.

I hope Stacey knows hat she should not feel responsible in any way for the argument and altercation w/Whitney. Addicts are extremely confused, volatile and almost impossible to reason with. I know because I have a son, who is now fortunately sober. God bless Stacey for trying to take the high road and continuing to do so. I wish you much success and remember, “the high road is a lonely road, but it is the only road”. If the rumors are true, we cannot blame Bobby Brown, he is an sick man himself. Whitney had been exposed to the hard knock life which included drugs, alcohol before she met him. He was a willing companion. Why is when someone dies a young, violent death, people charge in finding someone to blame?

I don’t blame Stacy or Whitney. Whitney was probably drunk and alcohol does that to you. I am convinced the whole thing was orchestrated by that attention seeker R Jay. He has that affect on women, and I would not put it past him to stage the whole event to make Whitney jealous. He knew she was vulnerable and it was probably his way of needling her. We all do this when we are in a relationship where the other person does not want to commit. Don;t forget this was the guy who slept with Kim Kardashan and post video of their sex act on the internet. He is a loser. I would not put it past him to post intimate moments between him and the star on line since thats his forte
