The glossy, cherry red lips on models at the Zac Posen fall 2012 fashion show are perfect for a romantic date!
MAC lead makeup artist Kabuki created the look using a blend of lip pencil, lipstick and lip gloss. Find out how to recreate the vibrant red look at home.
Kabuki used MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry to define the lip shape. Then MAC Pro Crimson and Red Lipmix were combined with a MAC Pro gloss for a “lacquered” effect. You can buy Cherry at any MAC counter or online, but Pro products require a Pro card to purchase. Have no fear! Simply try out a bright red MAC Lipstick like Russian Red followed mixed with a gloss like the Clear Lipglass.
Would you wear a shiny red lip look on a hot Valentine’s Day date?

OKay, I know this is probably an ad for MAC, but I just wanted to share my experience with Red Apple Lipstick. I have found them to be a much better product because they have THE best customer service and they are 100% gluten free. I love that red lipstick is hotter than ever right now. All women should embrace it and wear red lipstick!
