Bruce and Kris Jenner have taken to Ellen DeGeneres’ couch to defend Kim’s decision to divorce Kris Humphires after just 72 days of marriage. Watch Video!
It certainly doesn’t appear as if Bruce Jenner encouraged Kim Kardashian to try and make her marriage work instead of filing for divorce papers after just a little over two months of marriage.
That means he’s on the same page as his wife Kris Jenner who told Ellen DeGeneres on today’s (Feb 14) show: “It’s our job to support (our kids) so I don’t question some of their decisions.”
At least Bruce acknowledged to Ellen that “maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions.” Yea, right. That would be a good idea, Bruce.
Then Bruce took up the family party line about how Kim “believes in love” and that’s why she was “pushing” for the marriage. But that she quickly learned that “this is not going to work.”
Bruce insisted that Kim was going to take heat whether her marriage ended in “72 days or 3 years from now. She would have taken the heat. She’s a smart woman and said ‘Hey, I have to cut my losses and move on.’”
So there you have it Kris Humphries: Kim realized she had to cut her losses with you and move on.
The Jenner/Kardashian clan as a whole is clearly not into trying marriage counseling once those wedding vows have been taken. If things aren’t instantly perfect, it’s pouf! You’re cut and it’s time to move on.
