Justin Bieber announced today his manager Scooter Braun has signed Carly Rae Jepsen to the label School Boy. How exciting for her!

As we told you before, Justin Bieber is obsessed with a new Canadian singer named Carly Rae Jepsen, who sings a song called “Call Me Maybe,” and now he’s playing a huge role in furthering her career.

“I think that there is going to be a lot of stuff in the future so just watch out,” the 17-year-old pop star said on Much Music Feb. 14, when it was announced Carly Rae will be working with Scooter Braun‘s label, School Boy.

Scooter joked, saying, “The last time I worked with a Canadian it worked out really really well.”

He then talked about Justin’s obsession with her single, recounting what Justin said about the song. “I think this is BS that this song [“Call Me Maybe”] is #1 in Canada and isn’t #1 around the world,” Justin said.

Now that Carly Rae is working with Justin, we have a feeling “Call Me Maybe” is about to get a whole lot bigger!
