Jennifer, who sang a very emotional tribute to Whitney at the Grammys, has really been affected by the singer’s death.

Jennifer Hudson is distraught over Whitney Houston‘s tragic passing, but was grateful for the chance to sing “I Will Always Love You” for Whitney at the Grammy Awards.

“It was the greatest honor of my life to be able to be the one to pay tribute to Whitney’s memory,” Jennifer said in a statement to Us Weekly. “It was from my heart. I haven’t stopped crying since she passed. Her family is in my prayers.”

Oh that’s why she was screaming instead of singing like it was all about her? That explains a lot then… Whatever
