Adele Believes Her Ex-Boyfriend Would Be Happy For Her After Grammys Sweep

Getting dumped was the best thing to ever happen to Adele — She has her ex-boyfriend to thank for all her Grammy wins!

Everyone was thrilled that Adele‘s 21 swept the 2012 Grammy Awards, including — she believes — the ex-boyfriend who inspired her songs when he dumped her! “I think he’d be very happy for me,” she told HollywoodLife.com and other reporters backstage after the ceremony. “Yeah, I do.”

Speaking of being happy, Adele revealed that she’s “never been happier,” and that she considers her post-vocal surgery recovery to have been a “blessing in disguise.”

“It’s actually been really, really peaceful … being silent in such a noisy world,” she said.

But we’ve also got a bit of bad news for those of you hoping to get another album out of Adele anytime soon. When asked if she had enough heartbreak left in her to crank out another 21-style project, she simply responded:

“Oh, no, I’m too busy being happy!”
