Is this inappropriate or what? Whitney Houston lay dead upstairs at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and guests like Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Amber Rose arrived at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys bash downstairs, showing off mega-cleavage! Should they have gone home and changed? Look at the pics and vote!
Were Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Amber Rose, Michelle Trachtenberg and Venus Williams, among others, being disrespectful to the late Whitney Houston by wearing such extreme cleavage dresses? Granted, they may not have learned about the musical star’s passing until they were on the way to the event, BUT surely they could have sent an assistant home for another gown or even a sweater or shawl. And hey Kim- that cleavage you were spilling would have been wild, no matter what the occasion!
But maybe I’m just being a prude or an old fashioned girl and beyond revealing cleavage is appropriate no matter the circumstances. So HollywoodLifers, tell me now: Were Kim, Britney, Amber and more disrespectful or completely fine to show off such impressive cleavage at Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammys bash, even though Whitney had just died upstairs?

So, my comment from earlier was mysteriously deleted but that’s besides the new point I’m about to make. Kim Kardashian’s dress is gorgeous. And honestly, I’m not her biggest fan but she looks stunning, boobs spilling out and all. The only reason any of the people commenting are hating on her dress is because of who she is. If Christina Hendricks, for example, was wearing this same dress, everyone would love it and talk about how wonderful her curves (which are much larger than Kardashian’s) are. All I’m saying is, don’t be hypocritical.
On another note, their cleavage has absolutely nothing to do with Whitney Houston’s death. It is foolish and ignorant to try a make such a connection. They were not at her funeral, they were at an event.
RIP Whitney.

I don’t think that it was disrespectful at all. They did not know that she was dead until Clive Davis announced it himself at the party. They should be allowed to wear what they want to the party regardless. If this was at her funeral, then yes they should cover up but its a PARTY!!!!!! That is just stupid the stupidest thing ever.

I forgive kim because she only cares about herself and if she doesn’t get her photo taken 5 times an hour she will die, but the other two, I think it’s pretty bad.
Really, they should have cancelled the party or at least held it up until they could get Whitney out of the building.
Why do we have to look at kim’s overly plasticized face at the grammys? I want to see recording artist, not this shameless famewhore! Oh why does Satan punish us so?!

Yeah I don’t think that what was wore was wrong, what is wrong is Kim Kardashian what is she doing there? and she crashed the party? She had to have her mommie with her, because the two of them have no shame and Kim can’t travel alone because she is so insecure and needs constant support!!
She has to be exhausting to her family
I’m so sad about Whitney Houston, that beautiful voice,I’ve been watching her videos all day on the music channels RIP

The Hollywood types stooped to a new low, the party should have been cancelled. They think it was appropriate to hold the party with her body a few floors up? Would it have been appropriate to hold the party in her room? Down the hall? Was this a real estate issue? If Clive Davis himself had died and his body had not yet been removed from the hotel, would the party have gone on? Given he was paying the tab, I think not. Totally disgusting. Sadly Whitney was surrounded by this type of superficial, empty crowd.

Wow! You will really try to connect anything and everything won’t you? Their revealing dresses have nothing to do with Whitney’s death. If they wore this stuff to her funeral then yes there would be an issue. You always read way to much into everything.! They had the dresses picked out and the pre-grammy party had nothing to do with Whitney.

Sorry, Bonnie, but there’s a total disconnect with your question regarding cleavage vis a vis Whitney’s death. However, all three are dressed appropriately for who they are — limelight pigs! Especially, Kardashian (who was not invited according to the news outlets). For someone who claims to be keeping a low profile, she’s omnipresent on the red, white and blue carpets of America!! Will someone please slip her few barbiturates — no talent loss there.

What is the point of the title,of this story?? Huge cleavage AFTER whitney houston dies…one or the other should have been left off. And anyway they were going to dress the way they dressed anyway Im sure they didnt wear what they wore to take away from the Incident nor is her death a reason to change up a wordrobe. It was a grammy Party not her funeral so what was the point in the title. I find the title more disrespectful than their wardrobe

Britney didn’t look inappropriate at all! On the other hand…Kim looked like a cheap hooker. (shocker) I really feel sorry for women who are so insecure with themselves that they need to dress like that in order to get attention, or to have the cameras flock to them because they look so outrageous. Anyhoo….her dress wasn’t appropriate for much of anything…red carpet or not.
