If Channing Tatum’s sexy body on the big screen isn’t enough to drag you and your girlfriends to see ‘The Vow’ this weekend — I don’t know what will! But lucky for you, I’ll give you a few more reasons why!
The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, is definitely this year’s best chick flick by far. I know what you’re thinking, “Oh this this is just a play off the Notebook kind of movie,” but it’s NOT. In fact, it’s far from it. The Vow is moving, edgy and funny. It will leave you feeling all fuzzy inside, teary-eyed and wanting more. Plus, it’s inspired by a true story. What else could you really want?
Rachel McAdams plays Paige, who is newly married to Leo (Channing Tatum). They’re a young, hip couple living the starving artist life on the Northside of Chicago. The pair shares the kind of love that those who are watching only dream to have. It really doesn’t get any more adorable than Pageo (Paige and Leo).
But their lives take a turn for the worst when they get into a car crash and Paige’s brain injury causes her to have severe memory loss and forget about the past four years of her life — all which included her husband Leo. Paige’s last memory was from her stint at law school when she was engaged to her then-fiance who wasn’t Leo. With her memory wiped clean, Leo becomes nothing but a stranger to her.
I won’t spoil the rest of the movie for you, but they obviously go through many ups and downs as Leo tries to make his wife fall in love with him again. Here are my 5 reasons to see The Vow!
#1 Channing Tatum Shirtless
During their good days, the lovey dovey Paige and Leo had no problem getting hot and heavy. And spoiler alert — they go skinny dipping! So needless to say there are many sexy Channing Tatum moments that you can’t miss.
#2 Channing Tatum Cries
A vulnerable Channing Tatum is just as sexy as a shirtless Channing Tatum. I swear.
# 3 Channing Tatum Is SO Philosophical
I could listen to the softness of his voice all day, every day. Especially when his character Leo shares his theories on life and love… it really makes you think about your own life. Don’t you love when movies do that?
# 4 The Vow Was Inspired By A True Story
The fact that a happily married couple in love had to endure a situation where one partner suddenly became a stranger to the other — makes the worst date you’ve ever had look like paper cut.
#5 Channing Tatum, Channing Tatum, Channing Tatum!
Are you convinced yet?
Now say it with me, HollywoodLifers: I VOW to see THE VOW this weekend!
