Robert Pattinson In Sofia Coppola Movie

Sofia is jonesing to work with R-Patz, and HollywoodLife.com has got the exclusive scoop on what she has in mind!

Director Sofia Coppola, 40, thinks Twilight star Rob Pattinson, 25, should lighten his choice of roles with a quirky romance dramedy.

“Sofia has wanted to work with Rob for a long time,” a movie exec tells HollywoodLife.com. “She thinks he would be great in a movie similar to Lost in Translation.”

And apparently, Sofia believes Rob could be her next muse to resurrect her own career.

“She is actually hoping to make a comeback with Rob. They have met a few times to discuss the project,” continues the source. “Sofia wants to write and direct the film but wants Rob to be involved as much as possible. She thinks Rob has a magnificent sense of humor and wants to show it off. She wants to show everyone his quirky, eccentric self.”

In interviews he is always so nice and funny, its sometimes hard to believe the character he played as Edward Cullen was not actually Rob.Pattinson.He is just a very fine actor and will only get better, comedy will show another side of him, and he sings beautifully,a voice and sound that is his. WOW!!>

I believe Rob and Kristen have something special..like Brad and Angeline..they can learn from them

Dramedy is the kiss of death for a serious actor, don’t do it Rob, you don’t need the money.

I have always thought that Rob could be the next Hugh Grant…he’s funny, self-deprecating and could handle the physical comedy! I would love to see him do something like this!
