It Was So Cool Of Beyonce & Jay-Z To Post Pics Of Their Baby On Tumblr

Beyonce and Jay-Z took everyone by surprise when they released Blue Ivy Carter’s first public photos on a free blogging platform

We’ve heard so much about Beyonce and Jay-Z being high maintenance and over the top parents when it’s come to their first baby, Blue Ivy Carter (read: buying out an entire floor of the hospital), but they certainly made a statement Feb. 10 when they released first pics of their daughter on Tumblr, of all places.

In a world where most celebrities sell their baby pics to major magazines and tabloids, this was a shocking move on Beyonce and Jay-Z’s behalf. Instead of having Annie Leibovitz take portraits of Blue Ivy and then pasting them on the cover of Vanity Fair (yes, I’m looking at YOU, Suri Cruise), they put them up for free for all of their fans to enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your daughter with us, Beyonce and Jay-Z. Now please keep this Tumblr up to date!!

Hahah the baby is adorable but, it looks like Little Richard. Wonder who the surrogate was for this child? She was not pregnant but,continues to lie and pretend that she gave birth too…maybe one day she will be honest about it, there is no shame in using surrogates or adopting and hopefully she will feel the same way too.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who thought that! That baby looks 3 months old! And while she was preggers she never looked bloated. I had 3 kids and was an athlete when I got preggers. Ever since that Japan interview where her stomach deflated I never believed!

when my son was born his hair was straight and he was light-skinned like blue but at around 5 months his hair curled up and his skin darkened to the point of where i get asked all the time is he mine. he is mixed (i’m puerto rican & his dad is a louisiana creole-he is african, french, native american, and irish-) and he is a now 2 it is the same so you cant say anything about the babys hair or skin color

I don’t want this to come off catty, I just want to educate you a little. I have given birth to 2 girls who are just as bright, and the hair was just as straight. The hair on my baby’s head (15 months) is still very softly curled. She gets accused of being white. I have a lineage of creole, Indian and African American. The hair and color have nothing to do with the parents current looks, and everything to do with the genes. She looks just like Beyonce’s baby pictures. I’m replying as a mother who has had her babies wrongfully accused before. Good day.

That’s ignorant! I have friends (Black–and not all light skin) who’ve had children born with BONE STRAIGHT hair. After a few months it starts to curl up. Both Bey and Jay look like they have more then just “African” in their DNA (as many American Blacks do). Do some research.

every babies first hair can be drastically different from what it is a few months later. I was born with poker straight dark dark brown hair, the baby hair came out and I had curly blonde!

hello,not all Beyonce’s genes are African hater!! and Dont forget some Africans have beautiful hair,you should come to the southern part of Africa,Namibia and South Africa!!……and for your own info black babies are born with straight hair and start curling up as they grow……..
