‘Bachelor’ host Chris Harriston tells HollywoodLife.com that Courtney is probably regretting the way she acted on the show — and thinks she should apologize to Ben as soon as possible.
Courtney Robertson continues to feed Bachelor Ben Flajnik lines of love to manipulate him into thinking she’s the real deal. But as soon as Courtney is away from Ben, she makes it seem like she’s more concerened about winning than falling in love — and let’s not even talk about her constant bashing of the other women on the show. Now, host Chris Harrison tells HollywoodLife.com Courtney really needs to apologize to Ben for her bad behavior on The Bachelor.
“I think that she will admit, hopefully admit, that she went a little too far and some of the things she said were a little inappropriate and they were rude,” Chris told us during a conference call on Feb. 9. “I would hope she would come up with a little bit of an apology to several people on the show.”
When we asked Chris if he thinks Courtney should apologize to Ben, he not only said “yes” but also added that she’s probably embarrassed. “I bet she regrets some of the things she’s done and said,” the host said. “I think she’s gotten caught up in the moment a few times. That apology that Emily [O'Brien] gave, and the way she reacted to that is a great example.”
He continued: “Last week, that was just uncalled for the way she reacted when Emily kind of extended the olive branch. I’m guessing she’s home and regrets a lot of this. I haven’t talked to her, but I’m guessing that will be the case.”
But, Chris does approve of some of Courtney’s interesting tactics. “The things that Courtney’s done to get attention from Ben, some of it I actually respect,” he admitted to us. “I think she’s done a good job of fighting for this guy.”
Still, it’s possible that if Courtney does win in the end, she might reject Ben’s proposal and break his heart. And need we remind you: This would be the second time a woman crushes his heart on national TV.
So did Chris offer Ben advice on how to deal with heartbreak and humiliation if it were to happen again?
Apparently, the host wanted the drama to unravel el naturale. “We never discussed the negative ahead of time,” he confessed.
