Nick had the opportunity to catch Daniel on stage in ‘How to Succeed,’ and he was blown away!

On Jan. 24, Nick Jonas debuted as wily young go-getter J. Pierrepont Fitch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway, stepping in for Glee star Darren Criss, who replaced original lead Daniel Radcliffe on Jan. 3. When we caught up with Nick at the Drama League’s Benefit Gala honouring Kristin Chenoweth on Feb. 6, the former Jonas Brother had only the highest praise for the production — and his predecessor!

“I saw How to Succeed before I joined, which was amazing,” Nick told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I thought Daniel Radcliffe was amazing in the role. I knew the minute I saw it that I wanted to be a part of it.”

As it turns out, the feeling is mutual! On Jan. 31, while guest-hosting Live! with Kelly, Daniel gave kudos to his replacement. The Harry Potter star told co-host Kelly Ripa, “I saw How to Succeed the other day with Nick Jonas and he’s wonderful in it. It was a real treat to meet him and be able to watch the show.”

We can’t get enough of either Nick or Daniel, and we would love to watch either star sing and dance — and trick — his way up the corporate ladder in How to Succeed!
