Ben dumped Casey after she admitted that she still had feelings for her ex-boyfriend — but Ben now confesses that he feels horrible about how he sent Casey home.
Ben Flajnik was completely caught off guard when Casey S. showed up at his hotel room unexpectedly during the Feb. 6 episode of The Bachelor and asked him to have a chat. When she told him that she still had feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Ben stopped her in the middle of her tears and sent her home. Now, Ben wishes that he had been kinder to Casey when he dumped her.
“After such an intense week … I wasn’t prepared for Casey S. to show up at my room,” Ben writes in his personal People.com blog. “Watching it now I realize I could’ve been more sympathetic to her.”
Ben knows now that he didn’t listen to everything Casey had to say. “She was clearly involved with a guy that wasn’t appreciating her but all I could hear was that she was still in love with someone else,” Ben explains. “I had just sent Blakeley [Shea] home, which was really hard on both of us, and I kept thinking, ‘How could you let yourself be here still if you’re not that into me?’”
Ben wishes the best for Casey and hopes that she will find love. “I can’t change the way I reacted but I do hope Casey S. finds a man that appreciates her like she deserves,” he says.
BFFs — do you think Ben really should have sent Casey home?

this guy is the most unsexy thing i have ever seen. seems nice enough, and it’s not that he’s ugly- but really? do people find this sexy? i guess everyone has a type… but there’s no way a stripper/nymph/tease will last with this guy, so, courtney has my vote for winner. (b/c they usually make the worst choices. guys are dumb and easily manipulated, of course.)
