Do you think Kody Brown’s lifestyle should remain illegal, or should be able to collect as many wives as he can?
Good news for fans of TLC’s Sister Wives! Kody Brown and his four “wives” — Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn — made a stride in their fight against Utah’s anti-bigamy laws, which currently make their unconventional lifestyle illegal. A judge has ruled that the Brown family is now allowed to move forward with their case.
“While we understand that this may be a long struggle in court, it has already been a long struggle for my family and other plural families to end the stereotypes and unfair treatment given consensual polygamy,” Kody said back in Aug. 2011 when the suit was first filed.
So where do YOU stand on this issue? Do you think the Brown family’s bigamist lifestyle should remain illegal, or should Kody legally be allowed to collect as many wives as he possibly can? Sound off in our comments section below. We’d love to hear what you have to say!
