Madonna’s doesn’t have a problem saying ‘no’ to her kids — she cut her daughter’s big-screen debut out of her film!
Pop star-turned-director Madonna put her up-and-coming daughter Lourdes into her new film W.E., which opens Feb. 3, but now the teen’s parts will remain unseen! “I just kind of dragged her in at the last minute,” explains Madonna to MTV News. “It was quite unfair of me what I did and what I asked her to do.”
Lourdes was set to play a younger version of actress Abbie Cornish‘s character — a modern New Yorker obsessed with Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII.
“But she was really great and then I ended up cutting her out of the film,” says Madonna. “Ruthless, I know. I said, ‘Sorry babe, you’re on the cutting room floor.’ She took it like a champ.”
Guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to see Lourdes make her acting debut!

Wish Francis Ford Coppola had shown the same good sense in Godfather III.
