Lily Collins Used To Hate Her Bushy Brows

Wed, February 1, 2012 2:30pm EDT by 8 Comments

Lily is known for her Brooke Shields-esque eyebrows — would you believe she once plucked them into oblivion?

Lily Collins is Seventeen‘s March cover girl and she tells the magazine how she found peace with her bold brows. “It used to bother me — having bigger, fuller brows,” says Lily. “I even plucked them once so I’d fit in, but I hated them and couldn’t wait for them to grow back.”

What does she think of her eyebrows now?

“Now I embrace them,” explains Lily. “I’ve realized the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful.”

Is there a feature on your own face that took you a while to come to terms with? How do you feel about it now?

Being Italian I have bold black eyebrows too. They make you unique and different and draw attention to your eyes. You go girl and embrace them. You don’t need no skinny pale pencil lines!! Ignore the haters!

Absolutely love those brows !! That’s what makes her stand from the rest of the common looking faces in the showbiz world and the normal word. If I could have a woman with those kinda brows, It would be awesome !! Go Lily !!

Her eyebrows are PERFECTION and anyone who disagrees is a blind idiot, period. Eyebrows are SUPPOSED to thick and bold, it frames the eyes making them look larger and opens up the whole face making it more expressive. Thicker eyebrows look better on absolutely everyone and hers are the ideal.

And she doesnt have a unibrow, clearly none of you know what a uni looks like. There is no hair in between her brows, they just come out of the inner corners of her eyes which is how its SUPPOSED to look. Eyebrows that are too far apart make the face seem wider and makes the space between the eyes seem larger, making a face look retarded. Just because she doesnt have a whole country between her brows like most people do, doesnt mean she has a unibrow.

Good Lord people are blind.

Guess what? We are mammals & are supposed to have hair in varoius places. I wish more females would embrace their natural beauty instead of torturing themselves with wax chems razor bumps etc. lily is one of the most unique beauties today & im glad she’s being a role model. If you were born with a little more body hair than normal just rock it because you are not fooling anyone with your red splotchy bumpy arms and penciled in brows that have to be plucked every 5 minutes
