Nick & Aaron Carter's Sister Leslie Carter Dead At 25

The Carter family is ‘deeply saddened’ over Leslie’s sudden passing and she leaves behind her 10-month-old daughter Alyssa and husband of three years, Mike Ashton.

Though few details are known at the moment, Leslie Carter – the 25-year-old sister of pop stars Nick and Aaron Carter – died Jan. 31 in Upstate New York. In a statement to Access Hollywood, the Carters said, “Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We were deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter.”

Also a singer like her brothers, Leslie was married to Mike Ashton, the guitarist in her band The Other Half. They were married in 2008 and had a 10-month-old daughter named Alyssa Jane Ashton.

Alyssa’s Twitter handle was titled MomAshton and her about me says: “I’m Leslie, I love being a new mom to our wonderful baby girl Alyssa Ashton, and I have a wonderful husband who takes care of his girls. I couldn’t ask for more.”

Leslie appeared alongside her family on the short-lived E! reality series House of Carters, which ran for eight episodes in late 2006.

Er what? How can she die at 25? I can’t belive that people thinks it true if she died at 25 THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE A REASON FOR IT! to me though it just look like some rumor i’m not trying to be mean but i feel sorry for her

Why does the article not mention the cause of death?
What happened? No twenty five year old girl usually
just dies for no reason.

obviously the family isn’t ready to deal with the world knowing the cause of death- so they haven’t disclosed it. it will come out eventually.

she overdosed on drugs. she just moved back to live with her family from canada to have support fight the addiction. the family members left the house for an hour and came back to her being unconscious.
