While Demi’s reps have tried to downplay her collapse after partying at her house, a new report reveals that terrified guests thought Demi’s life was over.
Demi Moore‘s breakdown and alleged drug overdose on Jan. 23 in front of her loved ones had them thinking the 49-year-old actress was dying before their very eyes.
“Everyone thought she was going to die,” a source close to the situation tells the magazine. “It was terrifying.”
We told you that the 911 call was made by a friend of Demi’s and you could hear her 23-year-old daughter Rumer Willis in the background. Friends were at Demi’s Beverly Hills mansion for a small birthday party for Demi’s good friend and producer Heather Parry.
Demi was reportedly partying like crazy in the weeks leading up to her overdose. Demi was seen out with Rumer at West Hollywood’s trendy Soho House and she was reportedly “dancing wildly, lifting up her shirt to show off her six pack.”
Demi’s reps released a statement saying that Demi was seeking help for “exhaustion” and to improve her overall health.
“She knows she’s in a bad place and needs help,” a source adds. We told you that Demi is refusing to enter rehab and thinks that Kabbalah will is the only thing that could help her.”

She needs to grow up, get off the drugs, and quit trying to act like a teenager by partying with her kids and their friends. Everybody wants to keep blaming Ashton Kutcher for her downfall. She is responsible for her own actions. I don’t like Ashton Kutcher, he is a 33 year old man who acts like a 23 year old punk. But she made the decision to date and marry someone young enough to be her son in an attempt to hold on to her fading youth. How long could she have really thought it would take for him to tire of playing Daddy to kids almost as old as him?
