Guess Miley’s new year’s resolution to stop inhaling the cancer sticks is out the door. We caught the mega star puffing away in a car!
Just like us with our new fitness routines, it looks like Miley Cyrus is having a hard time sticking to her New Year’s resolution to quit smoking. What a bummer!
As we reported in late December, a pal of Miley’s claimed that the 19-year-old wanted to quit smoking as a new year’s resolution. Fast forward to a ridiculous long month later, and BAM! (Or should we say PUFF?!) OceanUp caught the singer/actress with a stick in her hand as she zoomed off in a car with friend Cheyene Thomas.
Although we don’t condone smoking, we can’t blame Miley too much. She’s had a rough couple of days, since attempting a front flip on her sofa and cracking her tailbone. Try to stay on the wagon, Miley! We don’t want you to get cancer.

i think she should stop smoking not because of fan, she is an adult but because she is a singer and her voice is so strong now and smoking will ruin it, but it is hard to stop smoking because my mom had a hard time doing it,but if she just like the feel of smoking she should get the fake ones with marshamellows and honey

She seems to have a fixation on phallic objects that she can suck on. I’ll bet she was molested when she was a child. Either way, seems like we lost Miley Stewart, and got Miley “ugh” Cyrus. Outside of those who love her and are close to her, nobody really cares, even she no longer cares…she’s got all your allowance and chore money. Hoo hah; SWEET NIBLETS! Her grandfather (cough, cough) who she dearly loved is rolling his eyes right now. I think she’s smoking because Justin Gaston and her ex friend beat her to the altar. Miley Stewart is just a character on a TV show. She’s not real. And Miley can do whatever the hell she wants. If she wants to continue smoking knowing that she can get lung cancer then oh well. There’s nothing you can do about it. It’s her life. Not yours. Remember that and stop expecting her to be perfect.

Miley is 19 yrs old, she’s adult right now but some of you still treat her like a child. Ofcourse smoking is bad for your health and everything but many people smokes and it doesn’t make them bad. It’s not fair. Look at other young singer-actresses: Kristen Steward, Rob Pattinson, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lindsay and damn even Dakota Faning is smoking but somehow it’s only Miley who gets negative coments for that. Miley should really stop smoking…it shows a great signed that she could be greatly depressed and not happy where she is. Most people who smoke are depressed ..but there are many healthier ways to get to get rid of stress besides smoking and drugs..yes, smoking and drinking relieves stress for a moment, but it also destroys your health! And MC is MUCH too young to ruin her health ! Please Miley, drop the cancer sticks and find some healthier way to express your depression! Folks, is not an overnight to a person to smoke anything. She is struggling to stop smoking it is difficult not to use something from nothing. And again, you posted that it decreases the amount of packets that it would smoke, so we see – it is far less than smoking had been doing before.
And for this to come up with thoughts that she’s going to have a cancer or other disease because of smoking. Stop picking on her. If you wanted to go for this option to smoke, since ae is her problem – because she is a teen / adult ..
And why not Miley be a bad model. So many famous people who smoke, but still give examples for their fans. You can not just to the side ‘bad’ of the famous, but for the good things they do for humanity. She is an ordinary teenager, experiencing things in life, who she really is living, not as many being famous – hiding behind a picture always ‘nice’ all .. So stop being upset about it, and let her (Miley) live her life.

who cares my aunt smokes but just because she smokes doesnt mean my aunt is a bad role model, she gives me advice and helps with boy troubles and even helps me with my homework. so just because you smoke doesnt mean your a bad role model

But just get off of the whole “role model” thing. Seriously. It’s idealism and romanticism and nativity at its worst. We don’t live in a Utopian society, so you’re welcome to come back to planet reality with everyone else. You go around saddling the burden of “role model” on people and you end up with Demi Lovato-esque meltdowns. Miley is an actress. Her job to entertain people. Not to raise their children. We are a society of bad parenting, broken families, and parents looking for an excuse to blame someone else for their failures. If your children go down the wrong road, that’s not Miley’s fault. Look at yourself in the mirror.

Cigarettes are extremely addictive. Nicotine is Pretty much as addictive as Heroin, if not more, from what I’ve heard. Granted, cigarettes are not as destructive as Heroin. That’s obviously. But still, it just ain’t that easy to stop once you start. I’ve seen plenty of people who would love to quit, but they just can’t. Other then the obvious, Capitol Hill lobbyists and corporate greed, I cannot fathom why smoking is even legal. I can say pretty much the same thing about alcohol. No social redeeming value whatsoever. At least there is some social redeeming value to weed. Granted, it’s not much, but there’s something.
