Selena Gomez Says She Wasted A Year of Her Life Dating Famous Ex

Is Selena talking about her ex Nick Jonas? In the March issue of Cosmo, she slams one of her famous exes for driving her life crazy with all his demands.

Before capturing Justin Bieber‘s heart, Selena Gomez reportedly dated uber hotties Taylor “Six-Pack” Lautner and Nick “Curly Q” Jonas, and although she’s not naming names, the 19-year-old Spring Breakers star confesses she wasted her time with one of them. 

Comparing her strong relationship to The Biebs, Sel says she’s relieved to have moved on from her high maintenance and privacy-obsessed ex (pssst…we figure she’s most likely referring to Nick-ster.)

“I was in a relationship previously where I had to hide everything and it wasn’t my choice,” she told Cosmo. “I had to go through different exits and take separate cars and do the craziest things, and it just really wasn’t worth it. It was like a year of my life completely wasted.”

Ouch. We hope Nick isn’t read this!

You all are cracked. It’s David Henrie. Think of all the drama that was speculated about them two. How her mom wanted him to stay away from her, being seen around sometimes and just saying that they were randomly at the same place or that they were having a brother/sister type dinner. That whole bit where she said that she always had to dress up for this mystery bloke and if you look at the pictures of them she’s always in heels and made up. Really? Do we look that stupid to them enough to think that we’d buy that they weren’t dating? I digress, He also stopped following her on twitter lol

Its Nick. bcz taylor isn’t her ex. He is her friend. I think she really loved nick a lot and she took her and nick’s relationship too seriously. thats why those thing Is still hurting her. I bet she will never forget NICK.

I like how open she is being, it’s kind of cool. I think she is talking about Nick, because being a seasoned JoBros fan, I know that Nick can be very shy, quiet, reserved, and private. So he probably just did’t want people all up in his buisiness; and seeing that Selena is very outward PDA-wise with Justin, that private lifestyle probably didn’t work for her. Plus, she just seems a little more cordial with Taylor than she does with Nick. IDK just my opinion…PEACE AND BLESSINS…PEACE AND BLESSINS

Some people on other sites (like OMG) are complaining that Selena is too young to be on the cover of Cosmo. Wasn’t Rihanna around the same age when she first posed for a Cosmo cover (March 2008)? Anyway, I didn’t say she named names, but Hollywood Life should be a lot more careful about speculating what she did or did not do. They can’t speak for her.

I love Selena, and I am so glad Justin came into her life. They both seem to love each other. Just because she answered this does not mean she has not moved on. She is just answering questions. But I do hope she does not mention any of her ex’s again, they do not deserve to be remembered by her (which I know is not that simple). Especially this person who made her hide and feel like she was not worthy to be seen with him. I am guessing it was Nick (eww). I wish Selena did not go out with him ever. But the only good thing about dating Nick was that is how she met her bff Taylor Swift, since Taylor also dated a Jonas brother!

I think she’s talking about David Henrie.. they had a secret relationship while her and Nick were dating openly and wouldn’t have to hide. Besides Selena dated David more recently, so it would make more sense that she would be talking about him (they were on and off I think in 2009 to 2010)

I agree..
That was 4 years ago, she was 15.
I think its time she gets over it..
She brings Nick up every chance she gets, she’s till obsessed
& can’t let it go that he didn’t love her like she loved him.
A majority of all her songs on all 3 records she’s released where based on him & their relationship.. (eg. I Wont Apologize, The Way I Loved You, Round & Round, My Dilemma, Bang Bang Bang…)
I honestly feel sort of bad for Justin, Selena obviously has some deeper issues involving Nick Jonas here.
WAKE UP, GIRL. GET OVER IT.

I don’t think she still has feeling for him, it’s just a feature that she has on holding on the bad things and don’t let it go. She still holds it that a guy told her she couldn’t have her own show when she entered Disney. Who cares, she got a show after. She also seems unable to repair her friendship with Demi probably because she can’t let the past problems that caused the fall out behind. It’s sad.
