A source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com the ‘Glee’ star and actress broke up in large part because of ‘Chord’s wandering eye’
It was fun while it lasted, but Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts‘s nearly 10 month long affair is officially off and HollywoodLife.com knows the real reason behind the split.
“Chord’s wandering eye was getting the best of him,” a source close to the pair tells us. “He didn’t want to be committed at all and treated Emma like an after-thought a lot of the time. His ego is getting bigger and it’s getting him into trouble.”
Chord, 22, and Emma, 20, were at the Golden Globes together, but things fell apart after Emma went to Sundance. By the SAG Awards Jan. 29, Chord was already hitting on other girls at an after-party.
Although Chord and Emma — who originally started hooking up at Coachella Music Festival last year — are done for now, they had so much fun together, we wouldn’t be surprised if they rekindle a flame in the future.
