Adele To Perform At The Grammys For The First Time Since Surgery

We can’t wait to hear Adele sing again at the Grammys in February. She’s nominated for six awards!

This is the best news we’ve heard all day! Adele will be doing a live performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles — her first time on stage since her vocal chord operation nearly four months ago.

“It’s an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all,” the 23-year-old British songstress said in a statement.

Adele has six nominations, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Short Form Music Video for “Rolling In The Deep”; Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for 21; and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Someone Like You.” We have a feeling she’s going to be sweeping this year’s awards, which air on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m Feb. 12.
