We had a feeling things weren’t going well for Steve Jones as the host of the new hit series and he confirmed our suspicions on Twitter Jan. 30. The same went for host Nicole Scherzinger!
It was obvious Steve Jones wasn’t comfortable hosting the first season of The X Factor in the United States. Sure, the British model was GORGEOUS, but he just didn’t seem sympathetic to the contestants. Apparently, producers felt the same as us, as Steve confirmed today himself he will not be hosting season two.
“I wont be hosting next seasons XFactor which is a shame but I cant complain as I’ve had a great time. Good luck to everyone on the show,” Steve tweeted Jan. 30.
LA Reid Leaving ‘The X Factor’ — After Two Seasons, Judge Calls It Quits
Right after we learned that news, E! Online put up a story citing sources who said Nicole Scherzinger isn’t coming back for season two either. “She wants to focus on her music career,” a source said. “She’s spoken to Simon [Cowell] and he’s given her his blessing.”
UPDATE: Though unconfirmed by FOX, our sister site Deadline.com is reporting that Paula Abdul is also exiting the show.
Now we can’t help but wonder who will be replacing Steve and Nicole on FOX’s new hit reality show. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Lets face it he was a lousy host no question about that. Also this thing recently on American TV with all this “British Accent”. Whats Up with that is there no capable American Native to do all these shows on screen and TV anymore?
