Josh Hutcherson reveals in a new interview that he ‘hit it off right away’ with Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth on the set of ‘The Hunger Games’! Are they the new killer trifecta like R-Patz, K-Stew and Taylor Lautner?
There’s no doubt that Hunger Games is going to be just a big — if not bigger — than Twilight. And fortunately for Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth there’s zero riff-raff going on between these post-apocalyptic survivors — just like their vampire-werewolf counterparts Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
Josh reveals in a new video on MTV.com that the trio became friends instantly on set!
“Jennifer and I hit it off right away, as did myself and Liam. Jennifer and I are kind of from the same part of the country, we had a similar upbringing, the same kind of system, more or less,” Josh says in the video. “She’s just a very real person, and you don’t meet many actresses that are super real and down to earth and genuine and are extremely talented on top of all that, so she kind of has the whole thing going on, and she’s an awesome person. I really hit it off with her.”
Doesn’t this sound all too familiar, especially if you’ve been following the Twilight trio? The Twi-tri is famous for their tight-knit friendship off screen.
Good thing these HG stars are good friends because they are about to spend a LOT of time together! The Hunger Games sequel — Catching Fire — is set to be released in November 2013 which leaves them a very little break in between promoting the first movie when it hits theaters in March and filming the sequel.
However, unlike Twigliht, I don’t think we’ll be seeing any romantic relationships in the future. Liam is currently dating Miley Cyrus, Josh was briefly attached to Vanessa Hudgens who is now dating Austin Butler, and Jennifer was last reported dating Nicholas Hoult. But who knows– in Hollywood anything is possible!
