Who better to be the godmother to the baby of power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z than Oprah? A source revealed to MediaTakeOut.com that Beyonce and Jay-Z have picked Oprah to be little Blue Ivy‘s godmother because she’s become a close, personal friend to the pair.
Jay-Z’s BFF Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith is reportedly the godfather. The couple wanted to give Blue godparents who weren’t already related to her (Sorry, Solange!).
