VH1 is putting together a lofty offer to try to entice Vanessa to join the case, sources reveal.
VH1 is looking to add a new star to their hit series Basketball Wives — and sources reveal that the network is heavily courting LA Lakers’ player Kobe Bryant‘s soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa Bryant.
Sources tell TMZ that VH1 is working on “an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa” to sign Vanessa to the LA cast as a permanent, leading star.
“Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level,” one source explains.
According to the insiders, VH1 didn’t want to approach Vanessa while she was married to Kobe — but now that they are getting divorce, the ball has switched courts. Plus, now the network has more money to offer to her.
VH1 tells HollywoodLife.com that “production has not reached out to Vanessa at this time.”
